I bought this to replace my old one, purchased in the early 80's. I thought the colours would be exactly as the old cube but this new cube has green opposite blue (it used to be white opposite blue). Took some getting used to but this cube is just so easy to manipulate. Much better design.

This cube is honestly a 10/10. Had to buy one for my partner for his office cause he enjoyed mine so much. It’s perfectly smooth, the colours are actual plastic not stickers so the colours don’t degrade. It’s every cubers dream.

I was stuck on it for ages with one cube out of place in the corner. I gave up and typed it into a online solver and it said “Impossible solve a corner needs to be twisted”! They were right. It’s so springy that I was able to easily twist it back to the correct orientation, but this is a massive design flaw

Is easier to handle, don't have pain in fingers.

I haven't used a lot of cubes, but this is far and away the best one I've ever used. Its design and feel is incredible, and it's almost impossible for a piece to fall out while turning it the wrong way, which happens a lot with normal cubes. Worst case scenario, a corner spins in place to face the wrong way, but it's easy to turn it back. It's also really slick and fast out of the box, and I brought my average solve time from 60+ seconds to sub-40 second levels with little extra practice and no change of strategy.

Great speed cube as well as first cube-actually ended up buying a second one as a gift. Buttery smooth, and while it is a little less slippery after a couple weeks of hard use, this actually ends up striking a better balance-still very smooth, but not too slippery when executing maneuvers. I am currently solving in under a minute & the limiting factor in going faster is definitely not the cube-fun to use!

I'm a long-time cuber (since the early 1980's), but cubes have come a LONG way since, just like the solving times/world records. Anyone who is into cubing knows that the genuine Rubik's brand cubes are novelty puzzles -- not speed solving puzzles. For this version, Rubik's collaborated with Gan, which is arguably the top brand name/design in speedcubes. Moyu is right there, too, but I like Gan more for several reason which I won't go into as part of this review.Anyway, with the help of Gan, this version of the Rubik's Cube is finally where it should've been all along. I do love Rubik's original stickerless design (they now use tiles instead of stickers/decals) while still keeping the black background/frame. But that's where my being a fan of the Rubik's brand begins and ends. The rest of this puzzle (specifically the innards) is all Gan, even if it is an older Gan design. Gan's involvement actually makes this a truly usable cube. Is it going to be anyone's main cube for competitions or just a cubing hobby? Doubtful. But it's still the best genuine Rubik's Cube I've ever seen. I'm no record-breaking speedcuber. I'm old school and mostly use it to keep the fingers, hands, wrists, and elbows more limber through old age, but with this cube I'm able to get similar (slightly slower) times that I do with my most expensive Gan 356X speedcube. Again, I'm not one of these 3-second solvers, but I do have under a 30-second average, and I can reliable get that time with this cube.If you're a beginner just getting into cubing, I would highly recommend this cube. It has a classic look/feel, while providing you relatively recent Gan technology inside for an excellent price. To get an equivalent entirely Gan cube you would have to pay twice the price.If you're a speedcuber, I would still highly recommend this cube just for the collectability/novelty of it. You're going to be able to get close to your fastest times with it. It'll probably never be your main, but I think any speedcuber would like having this in their collection just because it's a genuine Rubik's.

My son and I love this cube. It is very smooth. If you let a young child play with it, it will rotate on the corner pieces. You need to watch out for this.

Bought this because I wanted to get back into solving but with a cube with no stickers. I was one of those people that studied the cube and competed with other Rubik's lovers and I have to say in I had this in my prime I would have been faster. Turns like a dream, doesn't get stuck when going fast, no stickers to worry about rubbing off, and is durable. I may never go back to the original.
