Well made and stylish! I have the single and double style and they both fit my largest casserole pot, an oval 5.5 qt Le Creuset dutch oven with the lid! Keeps the food right out of the oven, more than warm for a few hours. Great purchase! On the double carrier, I put warm rolls up in the top section, wrapped in foil and they stayed warm and nice too. Or on the double carrier, you can add a 9x13 baking pan on top! All zips up fine! See picts

When we got to my house, my sister pulled out her bags and started loading my stuff in them. A couple of months later, she asked about one of the bags -- it was actually a casserole dish carrier that belonged to a friend. I found the bag and yes, it could definitely be a carrier for a casserole dish. It was made of the "Green" fabric used for bags that grocery stores sell for $4.99 or so. I thought it was a pretty smart idea -- a casserole carrier. I use a cane, and so I thought it would be very practical since I frequently make casseroles or use my casserole dish to carry things for get togethers. The casserole bag had a website on it, but the website wasn't secure. I'm NOT going to buy something from an insecure source and so I decided to see if I could find something similar at Amazon. I was INUNDATED with options!I have three 9" x 11" casserole dishes. I have a very old (40-50yrs old) standard dish, an 40-yr old deep dish and a 5-year old dish with extended handles which came with a lid. This casserole carrier handles all of them, individually. The insulated interior is designed to hold a 9" x 11" dish securely in the center of the carrier. I Haven't spilled anything in it, but it has somewhat of a rubbery texture. I imagine it would be easy to clean any spills. It also has a zip pocket on top to carry serving utensils, if needed. Initially, I liked the casserole carrier that my sister had left at my house, but this one is a thousand times better and, surprisingly, not much heavier.I'm very satisfied with my purchase and expect that I'll get plenty of use out of it.Please Note: The carrier came in a heavy duty plastic bag. The plastic was sealed with what appears to be doubled sided tape, not heat-sealed. If you're careful with opening it, you can re-insert the carrier into the plastic bag to keep the outside fabric pristine clean. -- just a suggestion.

It is very useful to keep the casserole dish warm and safe while traveling. Good for potluck and/or gatherings that you need to bring a casserole or similar dish to share.

Back in the Spring, I took a casserole to a friend's home in a casserole carrier I had had for years. I accidentally left it at her home when I left. Her husband had passed away, so her children were taking care of receiving the food and putting things away. My carrier somehow got lost in the shuffle of things brought, so I never got it back. I decided I needed to order one and placed my order for the Luncia Insulated Casserole Carrier. It is such a well-made carrier and very insulated for taking hot or cold foods. It is nice looking and will definitely take care of all my future casseroles for outings or food for someone. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Works well with large and smaller casserole dishes. Keep things fairly warm.
