Our daughter, an avid arts and crafts enthusiast, was thrilled to receive the 'Bling Bling' gem set—a creative toolkit designed to add sparkle to any item. This set seemed perfectly suited for her penchant for 'blinging up' her belongings.The set includes a handheld tool aptly named 'bling bling,' several sheets of colourful gems, and a user manual. The manual proved straightforward, allowing our daughter to quickly master the tool and use it independently. The process is simple: insert a gem sheet into the tool, position it over the desired item, and press down to affix a gem neatly and precisely.This tool brilliantly addresses a common frustration in craft activities—gems sticking to fingers rather than their intended target. With the 'bling bling,' this issue is neatly sidestepped, making the decorating process smoother and more enjoyable for little hands.However, there is a notable drawback: the set includes only a finite number of gems, and we have not yet found a source for refills. This limits the longevity of the tool's use, which is disappointing considering its effectiveness. Should refills become available, the tool could offer endless creative potential.Despite this, the initial set provided plenty of enjoyment and creative engagement. Our younger daughter, enjoys using it, which speaks volumes about its appeal. If the refill issue were addressed, the 'bling bling' gem set would be an outstanding, reusable addition to any young crafter's toolkit.

Very easy to use, stay in the hair well

My 11 year old loves this and honestly it looks brilliant in her hair which is very long so the gems dotted throughout work really well. It is so simple to use. You put a round of gems in the machine and press against the hair. It will spin the plastic so that the gap moves on and then you press for the next gem. You get a variety of colours, clear, blue purple and pink. They last super well in the hair, an entire kids disco with lots of dancing and they were mostly all still there and when we removed them they left no sticky residue that was noticeable!

Bought to take on holiday to America. Item very fiddly and poor quality. Bought after reading some good reviews on Amazon. Ended up leaving it behind not used , so wasted of money and plastic.

Works really well, was a bit pessimistic whne it arrived as it looked a bit cheap and plasticky but it works great, the gems stay in the hair for quite a while too, even had to physically take some out as they were so well attached, good fun for dressing up

Returned the item as 90% of the time the gems didn’t come out

This is a clever contraption to help you place hair gems onto hair. You can choose to slide the hair between when folded in half or open flat to press against the head. It works by rotating the gem circle inside so occasionally you have to press twice to get the gems to move round!You can buy hair gems on their own and place them onto the template as refills however with that much effort, you might as well just place them directly into the hair!
