This blanket really works well. I use it for anxiety and it provides a very comforting effect. It almost immediately lessens my rapid, pounding heart rate at night when trying to sleep with an anxiety attack. It feels as if someone is comforting you by lying next to you.Only problem is that it is quite warm, it really retains your body heat. This is great in winter time but could be a problem during warmer months.However, i am very satisfied with this purchase....great anxiety reliever.

Best sleep in decades. Strongly suggest getting the right weight for you. I had originally ordered a heavier blanket from another company and although it technically was correct for my weight it was much too heavy for my old knees and hip to move beneath. Ordered one from Amy Garden only 8 lbs lighter and it made all the difference in the world. Keep trying...

With the stress of working 2 jobs I’m constantly feeling stressed and anxious. I heard about a weighted blanket and decided to give it a try. Honestly I have been sleeping so much better bc of this blanket. It’s like a hug and sense of comfort. I’m considering buying a second one.And the 12lbs isn’t that heavy or hot at all.Great product

I purchased the 12lb which is slightly more than what is recommended for my 95lb weight. Although it felt heavy folded up in its packaging, the weight just didn't feel adequate. I don't feel that restricted or weighted down feeling. I still toss and turn with ease as I do with regular blankets. I'm certain the problem lies in the uneven weight distribution caused by the beads gathering in certain areas. Sometimes I fold it in half to increase its weight on me and it does feel heavy, calming, and comforting- which gives me hope that these blankets do work. I just need a heavier blanket with a better design.

I received this sooner than expected, for my adult daughter who experiences severe anxiety and poor sleep. The morning after her first time using it, she sent me a message saying she had the first good night's sleep in a very long time! I love that there is a chart that allows you to choose the proper weight blanket according to body weight

This was a gift to my daughter and she likes it but her husband uses it mostly. He had trouble going to bed early because he gets up at 4am to go to Navy Yard. He says the blanket works very well.

This is a well made blanket. The weight is distributed well and I don’t have to adjust it in the night. If you want a weighted blanket, this is a well made item. Great stitching.

Our daughter loves it. She has sensory issues as well as a random bed wetter. It washes well but requires hang drying. We’ve hung it over side by side deck chairs outside for drying. It’s also been able to hang from a shower rod on days where the weather isn’t suitable for drying.
