This puzzle features a thousand pieces and just about as many pieces of candy. It’s so sweet and colorful! I thought I might recognize some of the candy pieces, but nope! These are candies from outside of the U.S. so there was an added element of delight discovering a plethora of new interesting candies. The puzzle pieces themselves are well-made, although a tad too uniform for my taste. I like puzzles with uniquely shaped pieces, and these were very similar in general. I do appreciate the lettering on the puzzle back for when my patience runs a bit thin, and I want to accelerate the puzzle solving process. It’s a great touch, and I appreciate having the letters there whether I care to use them or not. The puzzle box includes a poster of the puzzle which is also a very nice-to-have. The low, low price of this quality puzzle makes it easy to solve this mystery: It’s a clear five stars!

Overall the results were pretty good. The artwork was decent, although there is a lot of deliberate blurring that I guess is solely to make it a bit harder. If it was completely sharp the level of difficulty would go down.The fit and form of the puzzle was great. The pieces snapped together sharply, and didn't stick in a way that made it hard to take them apart. I wish every puzzle manufacturer took note of this part of workmanship, it makes a big difference. But seriously, this puzzle had two shapes: edges and interiors. The interior shapes where all the same shape and all virtually the same size. Just the normal random variation in placement and width of the nubbins. Boring!!!Both because of the good form and the fact the the artwork has a lot of detail with great variation, the problem of false fits on this puzzle was pretty much not an issue at all. I may have tried to put the wrong two pieces together once or twice but it was obvious immediately I was on the wrong track.The one thing that keeps this puzzle from being great is the lack of reference artwork. The box is unusable as a reference because it is cropped completely differently than the puzzle itself. There is a single small poster inside the box that is accurate. But puzzling is often a couples activity, and with just one reference you might find yourself fighting over this.This puzzle has letters on the back, sort of a minor cheat code that might help you determine if a piece is being put together properly. This is not a feature that the puzzle makers of the western world have adopted, and honestly I don't quite see the point. It is useful in a puzzle that has a lot of false fits, because it lets you check your piecing, but that problem is fixed by doing the puzzle right. Anyway, no harm, you don't have to look at it.The price on Amazon is actually kind of high, but I think they put it that way so they can apply a huge discount. As long as that discount is in place, the price is great. It's interesting to see sweets from other cultures. No wonder those kids don't have weight problems because I see nothing I would have begged my mother for! But as far as the puzzle goes, it is comprised of quality cut and finished pieces that are enough alike I can see this puzzle will be challenging. It does have the lettering on the back of the pieces if it becomes too difficult but what's the fun in that? We call that cheating in my house. I appreciate the matte finish because the reflected glare of an overhead light can ruin a puzzle night.

This will be a fun challenge! I like the sweet theme (I mean, who doesn't like candy?). There doesn't seem to be any dust, and the pieces look well cut out. The colors are good. There is a poster, and letters on the back of the pieces, if you need those features. I am in the middle of another puzzle, so this one will get put in the waiting pile. I will update when I finally get to it if there are issues. The reason I knocked off a star is that I got a strong whiff of a chemical smell when I opened the box. Hopefully this will dissipate, though.

This is a really nice 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle. The puzzle has a lot of bright colors on it, and has a fun overall design. The pieces are around the average puzzle piece size, and they fit together super easily. The puzzle also comes with a poster that is the size of the box, which is what I always prefer.

I love to do puzzles and this one is great! The pieces feel like they are plastic which is nice. There is no annoying puzzle dust. The backs have letters to make for easy sorting and completing. Fun design and sturdy box! Would recommend it!

I know already that this is going to be an extremely challenging puzzle. There are so many similar pieces and I look forward to the sweet assembly of this one. The thing that will help is that there are letters on the back so you can put them in categories and do it section by section.
