don't work on everything
Made short work of an old wool coat, but you need to put much less water than recommended, it spits otherwise and some fabrics may get water marks. But, for the money, not bad.

Excellent moist heat for restyling wigs
This works non-damagingly and perfectly for making my wigs look more natural, I can recurl or straighten them if needed or wanted. Y'all know that wigs are never perfect from the get go, they have to be tweaked and played with to get the best out of them. You can make even the cheapest or oldest wig look good! You can find lots of tutorials on Youtube for re-styling, GlamFam is the best.I'm sure it would also be perfect for getting wrinkles out of clothes as well lol Wonderful for pure silk as the heat is moist, not drying to the fibres. The steam is just about the right output for both jobs.

Spewed rust onto my clothes after 2 months
This is an extremely cheaply made product. I bought this product less than 2 months ago and it has new sprayed rust onto my clothes. DO NOT BUY. Even though it’s cheaper than most, it’s not worth ruining your clothes over. Now I’ve wasted this money and am going to buy a pricier one anyway as this one is defunct. It also held an extremely small amount of water so I’d have to constantly refill it for anything more than 2 easy items.

I'm a real person and I like it
You don't have to be afraid to buy this product, just don't expect for the impossible, as you can only get a realistically working product. It's a travel steamer. It works as promised - maybe not as advertised by the praising "paid for" reviews.I was extremely worried about this purchase based on the reviews - All of the positive being clearly fake accounts with no other activities - and all the more real looking ones being extremely negative. With this caution gained from the comments I filled only half of the container with water. As a result it didn't spill anywhere. Did manage to burn myself by putting my hand right in front of the steam while holding my garment. But this all goes to show that most of the problems could be avoided by some common sense. The product is a TRAVEL steamer, so it's unreasonable to expect for miracles that only high power industrial steamers can deliver. The steam time is short, but still over 10min - which, as should be easy to understand, is what it was designed to do. There's time to steam a few garments - which is enough on a trip.It did the job of straightening two of my shirts. The results were better on a linen shirt (which I wouldn't want to iron in fear of ruining it) compared to a cotton blend (with which I think an iron might have worked better).Overall got what I paid for. Very handy living in a small room in London, when going to use the shared iron is too much of a faff. Also I've always wanted one of these. My advice to anyone buying this product is not to expect too much of it and use a lot of common sense.
