It’s the real deal
Pickled radish isn’t for the faint of heart, it’s an acquired taste. If you’re not acquainted with Asian food, this might not be the first thing you try. It’s fermented in bran which gives it that taste. To the Japanese a meal without pickles isn’t considered a well rounded meal. The product tastes pleasantly pungent, though not offensive when eaten correctly. It’s hard for me to find them in my area, which has a large Korean community. Korean pickled radish is not interchangeable.

ASPARTAME AND YELLOW 5
ZERO STARS. BUYER BEWARE—This product contains ASPARTAME and YELLOW 5. Why they would add these neurotoxins to a pickled radish is beyond me. Complete waste of money as they are inedible and non returnable.

Taste that comes with age, rather than the cheapness of early Daikon
There's no waiting time about 3 weeks with other style Daikon pickled Asian Radish commonly found at home Korean cuisine, especially in the Summer. There's a mild difference in flavor to other Daikon brands with the wait time for a more chewy, esthetically appealing, refine, fermented, and preferred taste rather than the crunchy texture ill suited as it rocks the teeth and overuse the gums. It's delicious that reminds me of mother's cooking.

Good but unsliced
I thought texture wasn't as crisp and it wasn't a presliced pickled radish

This Pickled Radish is not good.
Raised in Tokyo, Japan, pickled radish is one of my favorite food items - so I know what I'm talking about. This product is not up to par. The pickled radish should be, well like a pickle, firm and crisp, but this item is NOT. It is mushy and soft and does not taste fresh made. The last time I ordered this item, it seemed borderline acceptable, parts of the pickled radish were soft, but this last order was unacceptable. A good pickled radish should be crisp and break off in your mouth when sliced. Not fair to sell this item, and not be able to get a refund when the item is unacceptable.

Sorry, not what I bargained for
This is a staple food from much of Asia. In Japan, the Daikon is crisp, crunchy and never soft. Sad to think that current makers of this condiment has forgotten their ancestors and consistency.

Wrong texture...not fresh
I'm not sure what happened with this radish, but it didn't have the fresh taste at all and was a bit mushy...arrived super fast
