ColumbiaWomen's Arcadia II Jacket

The jacket arrived in great condition and the size I had ordered (XL). While it is very lightweight, it is of good quality. I wore it recently during a moderately heavy rainstorm and 40 degree temperatures and am very pleased with how well it protected me not only from the rain (my clothes and I stayed totally dry), but also how well it protected from the wind. Also, with the jacket being an XL, I'm able to wear layers underneath, which kept me warm in the cool temperatures during the rainstorm, without the jacket feeling tight and constricting. The non-detachable hood comes down quite a ways over the forehead, so protects hair and glasses from getting wet, and has a drawstring to tighten the hood for further protection-- as does the bottom hem of the jacket. In addition, the jacket, itself, zips up all the way to the bottom of your chin, preventing rain and wind from coming in by your neck. There are also velcro strips that close over the zipper for added protection. The other plus with this jacket is that it's packable. The left front pocket is designed to be large enough to stuff the jacket into if you're traveling, and has a double zipper (ie, on both outside and inside of the pocket) so that once stuffed into the pocket, it can be zipped up to contain the rest of the jacket inside the pocket. And, while this is a little bulky, it's flat enough to easily fit into luggage or even a backpack without taking up a whole lot of room. I definitely recommend this rain jacket.

I’ve had one of these before but somehow lost it. I’ve used other things to keep dry from the Florida rains, but nothing really worked that well. This was on sale for the spring sale, so I decided to go ahead and get another one! So glad I did, very water proof and the entire jacket is lined - even the sleeves. The body is lined with a mesh so it breathes and keeps that humidity from making you sweaty. The arms are lined with a different material but it works well also. the last one I had I bought in Large due to having longer arms and broader shoulder from swimming, and it fit ok but when I needed a sweatshirt I felt constricted (I can’t stand tight arms or underarms on my jackets). This time I decided to size up to an XL - I’m really happy with that as I can wear a sweatshirt and this still is comfortable. Im ok with it being looser on the torso too. Very waterproof, breathable, and light. I will probably buy another one in a different color to keep in my car. I love the white /cloud color that I bought this time - wasn’t sure I would but I do. Great deal!

Love this jacket. So cute and comfy and keeps me dry but not sweaty as a lot of rain jackets do.

It fits well. I like the fact that the sleeves can be adjusted so I can shorten them since they were too long for me. I actually tried it at a store that carries exactly the same brand, color and style. I decided to get it at Amazon because of the good discount. The only problem I found is that it didn’t bring instructions of how to turn it into a small bag to easily carry it around. I saw the video but it doesn’t show the details. Are we supposed to guess?Nice color and material seems to be good for rainy season.

I had a family Disneyland trip planned & unfortunately it was going to be a rainy Disney trip. I ordered this jacket in hopes that it would keep me warm & dry all day, & it sure did! I was warm & dry all day long. It was pouring all day at Disneyland. I got home around 10 pm & I was completely dry. This is an amazing jacket. For size reference I am a 2x, I ordered a 2x & it fit perfectly. Totally worth the price.

Love love this jacket! Lightweight, waterproof with a nice hood. The lavender color is beautiful without overwhelming you other outerwear. Zipper glides like a dream. Excellent for an Alaskan cruise.

I was so excited to find this color in my size and on a discount for Black Friday! Then I was immediately disappointed because the sleeves are way too short for my arms!! I have winter coats from Columbia and have not had issues with arm length, so this was surprising to me. The fit is great everywhere else, but because I bought this specifically for walking my dogs in the rain (which involves frequent stretching and reaching to clean up after them!) the too-short sleeves make it useless to me. Will be returning and purchasing in a men’s size since they don’t provide a “tall” option in women’s sizes.

This is my second Columbia Arcadia rain jacket and it is awesome. I noticed the sleeves of my old one weren't coming clean in the wash, and then discovered it is 11 years old! I have worn that jacket so many times, and I decided it was time to get a new one. These are awesome raincoats. You can put them in the washing machine! The rain jacket works well to keep dry and has nice pockets. It is light enough for warm rain. Throw a fleece on underneath and it handles cooler weather too. It also works well as a windbreaker.I like that it has both a zipper and velcro to close. Also, this jacket is very compact and sturdy for packing. That makes it excellent for travel, and also to throw in your backpack or tote in case of rain.
