Insulates hose and protects it from kitties, but makes hose heavy
I’ve been wanting one of these for a couple of years for two reasons: To reduce or eliminate the condensation that causes surprise “runny nose” sensations when I move my head in my sleep To keep my cats from poking holes in the hose with teeth and claws which has resulted in many bands of tape patching up previous hosesThis CPAP hose cover does the trick on both counts.I haven’t had it long enough to test in the winter when the condensation in the hose and mask are especially annoying, but it has thwarted the moisture issue so far, even when we’ve had the AC on during hot and humid conditions. I imagine it’ll work just as well come winter. One of our cats had a habit of biting at my CPAP hose to wake me up, or to swat at it because it looked like a toy/threat. He showed mild interest in it once the cover was on, stuck his mouth over it once or twice to check it out, and has otherwise ignored it since. Now he shoves his face in mine to wake me up, which is far better than damaging my medical equipment. The cover has a full-length zipper, with hook-and-loop Velcro-type fasteners on the ends. It’s super easy to put on and take off, and it doesn’t slide up or down along the hose.As another reviewer mentioned, because my hose swivels 360 degrees, the cover twists up and does not stay straight along the length of my CPAP hose. This makes the hose feel heavy, bunched up, and a little unruly, adding to the overall bulk of my bedtime routine. That said, the added weight and texture of the cover helps a tiny bit to keep the hose from sliding off the bed and tugging at my mask. It also keeps the hose quiet, especially if it were to slip against furniture because the hose ridges are almost entirely covered end-to-end.I personally do not care for the texture of the cover at all. I don’t find it soft, but it is manageable given the benefits of using the cover versus not. I also do not move around much once settled and asleep, so I mostly notice the weight and texture of the hose as I’m trying to get myself situated and my CPAP hose wrangled into position for the night.CONS:- The cover fits so snug on the hose that it shortens the hose length a bit because it gets twisted up more easily. I wish there were a way to allow the hose to swivel and move inside the cover. (However, that’s probably a situation where it can only be one way or the other, so I don‘t know that there’s a way to solve that issue.)- I find the added weight (and twisted cover/hose) cumbersome as I try to get ready for sleep.- The texture is more like the inner layer of a winter windbreaker jacket, which I find neither soft nor pleasant.- The above two points sometimes make me even more annoyed about using a device I don’t like and don’t reap any noticeable benefits from. (I know that it benefits me on a physiological level, so I use it. I don’t have to like it though.)PROS:- The zipper and fasteners make it really easy to put on, secure, and take off.- The cover provides a bit of noise reduction.- I don’t notice the extra weight or texture when situated and falling asleep.- The insulation prevents water from collecting in the mask and waking me.- The cover provides protection from kitties, and I sleep a little easier knowing I don’t have keep an ear out for a sneak attack on the hose.OVERALL:The benefits of using the hose cover outweigh the things that make it a little more annoying. I have to use a CPAP machine, so I might as well use the hose cover too. While I don’t like the added hassle the cover creates at bedtime, the protection, insulation, and noise reduction it offers enables me to sleep a little better than without it....Would have given it 4.5 stars if able to.

Protects, Quietens, and Looks Great!
If you've ever wrestled with a cold, noisy CPAP hose that interrupts your sleep, the 6.3ft CPAP Hose Cover by Ablefector could be your new best friend. This cover is a breeze to install, thanks to its full-length zipper, and it stays securely in place with the well-finished elastic ends. The soft fleece exterior feels great against your skin, while the nylon lining keeps things quiet, even when your hose rubs against the bedpost. Plus, it effectively keeps condensation at bay, meaning no more midnight wake-ups from annoying raindrops. I’m happy with how well this cover works, and it even washes up nicely in a delicates bag. If you’re looking to elevate your CPAP experience, this hose cover is a must-have!

Works great for my CPAP tube
I started to use a CPAP tube covering about two years ago to protect the tube and help regulate the air flow temperature as per the instructions from the CPAP company. To that end I grabbed the Ablefector 6.3ft CPAP Hose Cover to be a replacement. I like the color. It’s basic, but fine. The material is soft and comfortable to the hand, but also on the head should it be near you as you sleep. The zipper works great. It’s tight, easy to maneuver. The ends have a “latch” if you will of velcro to hold the end of the Ablefector 6.3ft CPAP Hose Cover in place, keeping it from slipping along the tube. Overall this is a good design, it does as designed and as recommended by the CPAP company, and I feel like it’ll last as long as the one it will replace. I am happy with the Ablefector 6.3ft CPAP Hose Cover.

Fixes the noise caused by the hose being pulled along my nightstand.
Fits my ResMed AirSense 11 hose as expected. I got this because the ribs on the hose would pull against my night stand causing a rumbling noise in the middle of the night. This cover allows the hose to be pulled across my nightstand without making the noise now.

Mixed outcomes
This cover fits my ResMed Air Curve 10 Climate enhanced oxygen hose wonderfully. It is well made and soft which was nice. My problem arose during active use. I am thinking it is related to the mask I am currently using. I use an Air Touch/Air Fit which has a 360 degree swivel neck that when I move it twists the hose resulting in the cover twisting which makes the hose feel heavy and cumbersome. I ultimately took it off. I washed it and let it dry. It is as soft and zips as simply as it did out of the package. So, I would suggest that if you want to cover your hose this is a great product to use. My only caution would be if you are using an Air Touch or Air Fit I hope that you can find resolution to my problem. This is a quality product.

It works; a little bulky, but not too bad
This tube cover does exactly what it says it will. It insulates the tube to help reduce condensation and rainout, it quiets the tube down, and it makes the hose more comfortable. It fit my standard 6 foot long CPAP hose without any issues and zips on and off easily for quick cleaning. Overall, I am happy with this cover and like it other than the fact that it adds a bit of bulk to the tubing.

Very well made - easy to put it on the hose!
This CPAP ResMed hose cover sleeve is very well made. It has a soft outside and sateen like inside. The entire ccover has a nice zipper that runs the length of the cover so it makes putting your CPAP hose inside of it a breeze. There are straps at each end to secure it - with the end closest to the mask having an elastic velcro strap so it really doesn’t move or slip down the hose. And it literally fit my ResMed CPAP hose like a glove. I’m not sure that I was ever bothered by the “sound” of my CPAP hose - but with this sleeve the plastic ribs of the hose are covered up so no noise is possible. I will say that it dooes make the hose noticably heavier, but I got used to it after a couple nights.
