Club Glove Last Bag Collegiate Golf Travel Cover w/Free Stiff Arm

I've traveled for years with a $30 Slazenger soft bag...it got a tear here and a rip there after every flight but nothing some good 'ol duct tape (on the inside) couldn't handle, that is until my last trip to Pebble Beach where an 8" split seam exposed the contents to open air. For a (business) trip to Ireland, I researched the heck out of travel bags reading reviews and even going to well stocked Golf Stores but nothing stood out in terms of price vs quality. I cringed at the price of this bag knowing my last one was so cheap and I certainly got my moneys worth but decided that my clubs are too big an investment to take a chance. The canvas was so thick and the Club Glove bag is so well made that after my Irish round trip (2 planes each leg), it returned to me without one thread out of place. There are so many color schemes to choose from but I have to admit that my Black/Copper bag was pretty sexy going through the airport. Since my latest golf bag is a carry bag and I plan on sticking with that size moving forward, I bought the smaller Collegiate size travel bag and had more than enough room for all my gear. Although the two side pouches can easily fit a pair of shoes in each, my one and only gripe is the zipper design... there's only one zipper handle for each pouch and it worried me that it could unzip and open up or be opened up and not get fully closed and I could lose my shoes or contents. That didn't happen but if there were two zippers, I could have use a TSA lock or a zip tie to ensure there'd be no way it could open accidentally. I'll figure something out for my next trip but if Club Glove reads this review, that would be my one and only suggestion. It may only be for peace of mind but for the price of this bag, its a small thing to ask and I'd be happy to make an exchange if you do make a zipper change improvement :-)

Got this for a trip flying down to Arizona 4 months ago. And have flown with it on 6 trips since. The metal rod is such a great addition! It is very well built & will give you confidence your clubs will survive rough baggage handling. The added pockets are great too! Didn’t think I’d use them but they are the perfect size for two sets of shoes in each pocket, saving a lot of room in my carry on. Built very solid! Well worth the price.

Best Club Glove Ever! This is my second bag; last one lasted 19 years which travel globally over this time. A rivet popped off of my last bag but otherwise it was an absolute awesome travel bag. No doubt, this one will last me years into the future. I highly recommend this over any other travel bag including a hard sided case.

Restocking fee is excessive.

Great bag for stand bags. With the locking arm to keep the bag from being smashed from the top worked like a charm. It is a lot smaller than a normal travel bag so it is lighter and easier to handle. I highly reco this item.

My husband just loves his new golf travel bag. After two big trips, it looks like it is still right out of the box.

I have used this bag a number of times and it is perfect. Still in good shape. Very happy with my purchase
