I do an oil treatment on my hair once a week with this. I have an autoimmune disease that caused me to lose a lot of my hair. This has come in handy for growth. It smells kind of like coffee, if that makes sense. But it glides through my hair (I am Caucasian with a 3b curl pattern), and feels nice on my scalp. I let it sit for a few hours, then wash out with a clarifying shampoo. After a month, I am seeing a lot better f new hair growth starting to come through at my scalp line, filling in the areas that had really thinned out. Hopefully it continues to perform well. But a friend recommended this to me, and I am a believer. Just give it some time to start seeing results.

This batana oil seemed to make my hair stronger and healthier. I don't have any evidence yet that my hair has grown.It makes my natural hair softer and easier to manage.

I have used the Old School Castor Oil stuff for quite a while and I am so pleased that Batana Oil showed up in my feed. I had never heard of it and decided to give it a try.It has added so much health and moisture to my hair and scalp. I don't have dandruff, but after a few uses and massaging it into my scalp with a scalp scrubber, I noticed sebum and product buildup being loosened. I would say that common sense tells me that your new roots can't grow well if you have buildup on your scalp. I slept in it for a couple of nights and gave another thorough massage. Then I combed through with a fine toothed comb and I was amazed (and a bit horrified) at the gunk that has been sitting on my scalp.Followed with a good shampooing and conditioner and my hair was amazingly soft and full of volume. Time will tell as far as whether it promotes hair growth but the conditioning properties alone are thrilling me.After a couple of days straight using this, I noticed that some of it had smeared below my hairline and the parts of my face that it had soaked in were so soft! I could literally see a line between where the product transferred and my regular skin cream began. Needless to say, I took a chance and smeared it over my face and left it for about thirty minutes. Again, yucky dead layers of keratin softened and just rolled right off.I am hoping for a larger bottle. I will continue to use this brand. It is a good amount and well worth the price.

This works as expected to keep my hair healthy. Easy to apply and the smell is fine. I hope it's genuine stuff, as that is what I read was going to be the best to use. The stuff from other continents is bad. Recommended.

I have never tried any other batana oil, but the problem here is that it smells, and very much, like strong coffee.It is not an unpleasant smell, but having it on your scalp or skin every day, well, it will start to be quite annoying.I can't give it a star because I can't tell if it works for hair growth or what, because I can't use it as intended.

Well I had hoped this would be great but unfortunately the first time trying it was definitely enough for me. Everyone to their own and perhaps it will be ok for you, but if you are sensitive to smells this won't work. It is the worst scent ever. Two of my friends actually likened it to embarming fluid. It's horrible. So potent. So unfortunately I cannot give a review on how this stuff works as I couldn't get past the smell 🤷‍♀️🥴 The packaging was great and it came with two little brushes which were a great add on though

I don’t have thinning hair, so didn’t get this for that purpose. But it does work wonders for my very dry hair, which is what I was hoping for. It comes in liquid form, which is dispensed from a dropper. After shampooing, I mix 5 drops with some argan oil and apply to my scalp and hair. It makes my hair look shiny, moisturized, and tame. It does have a mild natural scent of coffee with sugar, which I like but it may not be for everyone. It does dissipate after a while, but it’ll last a couple of hours at least. It’s hard to know exactly because I think I just get used to it.Included in the box are applicators for both eyebrows and eyelashes. I’m trying it on my brows, because they could stand to be thicker, but it takes 6-8 weeks so notice results, so we’ll see. I like that this is a natural product that I feel confident about using.

This oil is a little lighter than other one. I like the fact I can use it as a leaving in my hair.I oil my scalp with it and it make my hair softer and add some shine.I also use it on my skin after showering to keep my skin soft and glowing. It is not greasy and absorbs fast. I love it.
