Red Light Mask for Women, 1 Count (Pack of 1)

I ordered this to help with age/sun/Melasma spots. I'm 45, have a pretty non problematic, normal skin, genetically on a better side as far as wrinkles and aging goes. My biggest cringe was the sun spots around my temples and forehead that showed up after the last pregnancy and never left. I've done at least 5 photo-facial laser treatments. The first two helped a lot, but then after that it was a waste of money. The technician suggested to try prescription creams, but my understanding is that they only help while you're using them. I found an online thread with a personal review saying that red/green light therapy helped to permanently lighten the spots - so off to Amazon I went.Now for the price, I think, this mask is a great value (less than one facial treatment). The electroids were zapping me too much, so I got rid of those. The instructions were meh, so that's just about the only downside. The mask is heavy, but with a neck piece I'm able to position it between my chest and forehead without having it press on my face uncomfortably. The remote is alright, the cords are long enough, if you're using it with near-bed outlet. I didn't use the elastic band, just let the mask rest in place.So far I've done 3 sessions. The internet search (because the instructions were contradicting with what was listed in the item description), led me to try red, green and purple light settings.I did red light on the face for only 15 min. I noticed skin tightening, tingling, and afterwards a slight improvement in tone. Probably need more sessions to speak on the benefits.Next I followed with a purple. It's supposed to assist lymphatic drainage. The only thing I can say is that my root canal that I felt like it didn't heal properly was pulsing with its own heartbeat. So something was happening. Slight improvement in a tension headache that I didn't realize I had and some sinus drainage. After 15 min on a face, I moved the mask around my body for 5 min sessions. Nothing like a tingling jaw happened anywhere else, but I felt a need to take a hot shower, and scrub and massage my skin afterwards, which led to a very relaxed and tired feel. Note to self - don't do this in the morning.Now the green light. I did two 20 min sessions on the face so far, with 5 min rotations around the body while reading a book. I did not notice any difference with my sun spots yet. I figured it might be a couple months, but so far they did not darken, which is promising (some internet places say that it can darken rather than lighten). The biggest improvement happened on a healthy/un-injured skin. I woke up this morning looking like Snow White, the fairest of them all, but with sun spots. The redness (which I didn't think I had), and that overall uneven skin marbling was significantly reduced. It looks like I'm wearing a sheer tinted moisturizer, where the skin is quite even overall, just the dark spots are noticeable. Very promising.There is a lot of research to suggest that light therapy is beneficial for a lot of other things like healing, inflammation, mood, etc. besides just the vanity aspect of it. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens after a prolonged use.

Loving my new mask! It was easy to put together and operate with the provided manual.I love the fact you can adjust the intensity of the color and there are so many colors to choose from.Also you can adjust the type of lighting between continuous and pulsing.

The remote makes this weird chirping noise & does not work, the mask is fine. For something so expensive it shouldn’t be this easily broken/cheap!! Super disappointed.

The media could not be loaded.  This mask is incredible for home facial treatments. I have been loving trying all of the different colors. My favorites are the red light and the white light. Easy to setup and use. It took me a few tries to get comfortable and get the masked places properly.

The media could not be loaded.  Super Excited for this cool Led Beauty Mask ! Instructions are clear! The mask itself light! Easy to use! The strap holds nicely! It has 7 different light option! So far I tried the white light! Recommended to use between 15-30 min ... I tried 25.... but it does shut off automatically! The packaging also looks nice! Worth to try!

The face mask seemed like a second-hand product. All the wires were already connected, and the straps and plastic bags were included in the box. The mask came without a manual, and it was very uncomfortable to use. The rubber eye holes couldn’t block light, and the nose bridge design was painful. Overall, the experience was very disappointing, and it felt like receiving a used item. I hope for a refund or replacement.

The received mask not only lacked a manual but also had terrible plastic packaging. The mask is made of hard plastic, making it very uncomfortable to wear, with eye holes that didn’t block light and a painful nose bridge. As I used it, I began to experience pain, and I even had burn marks. Check thoroughly before purchasing to avoid issues like mine.

The media could not be loaded.  This light mask is great and I love that it has 7 different light modes to switch to. It’s super easy to set up and just plug everything in and it works immediately. The adjustable band on the back makes it easy to adjust to fit your head comfortably and tight enough for it to hold in place. I like that this one also has the neck attachment but it is also removable if you don’t want to use that option.
