Did not fit my 13 gallon trash can, the top isn't wide enough. Very expensive bags, hard to want to make the change for the environment. They are however stronger than other bags I've tried out!

These have a distinctly different shape than our average kitchen trash bag, but it works. Two things affect capacity, in my opinion. First, the end is tapered so you lose a little corner space. Secondly, the handles at the top end up creating quite a gap when we tie the bag closed. I prefer trash bags to be completely closed so I don’t have to worry about crumbs and smaller trash falling into our trash cans!The bags fit well into our kitchen can. I wasn’t sure the wide top would stay in place but it does. I like that the bags are compostable, though, admittedly, I don’t know a lot about the process and if it makes a difference that the bag will break down faster than the items it holds. Like, if I want to wrap items in the bag to store in my garage, how fast is the bag going to break down? :pOverall, I’m glad that these fit in our kitchen trash can. We can’t stuff or overstuff the bags like we can with big store, big brand bags or else it will tear or won’t close. But used for normal trash, it works. These are also good for household cleanup and light yard work (leaves, not branches!).

These are strong plant based like bags made from natural plant-based materials.When exposed to a suitable temperature, air, and moisture, the bags will decompose along with the organic materials placed in them. ( but you do not have to limit the items for organic material if you don't need to. They are strong for everyday use while being able to decompose better than regular plastic bags which is better for the landfill, ocean, lake and wildlife.....It decomposes in the earth eliminating less tanglement around the necks of birds or wildlife in the landfill or water, while we use it normally for everyday items. It is worth purchasing these wonderful garbage bags for the sake of the environment and it comes with 100 bags in the box.

I really liked the idea that the trash bags are compostable. I always feel horrible using plastic bags to contain my trash and have tried to reduce my waste. I have tried recycling and reusing more often than not. Some times I don't have much trash, but the wet stuff still needs to be placed in a bag so I can avoid power washing my trash cans. I think that this product does its best to address this problem by making compostable trash bags.My complaints are that these aren't meant for kitchens. They fit better in small trash cans because they're quite tiny. They are sturdy, however. The price could also be unaffordable for people of lower incomes since you could easily get a pack of 100 larger non-compostable trash bags for ~$20. It's unfair to ask people of lower income to spend more money to switch to this because maybe every cent counts. I can't wait when these bags become cheaper though. I would spend more money for these though.

I try to use Eco Friendly products whenever possible. These Compostic 13 gallon bags fit my garbage can perfectly fine and are listed as being able to compost and breakdown faster than an orange peel. Some of the compostable bags I have tried were pretty thin but these feel thicker and are pretty strong. I have given them a stretch test, (to get it around the rim of my bin and they seem hold up fine. These are actually "T-shirt" style and can be tied by their handles. There is 1 large roll of 100 bags which are attached by perforation.These are described as extra strong and I do find that I'm not worried about them tearing or getting holes poked in them from the corners of some trash.They are a good for the green effort, (as every little bit helps).

The obvious reason to buy these bags is for the positive environmental impact. I love that these are biodegradable. I also like the green color and the handles at the top of each bag. The bags are easy to tear apart from each other. My only dislike is these bags don't seem to be as deep as the Glad bags I usually purchase, making them fill up quicker. That being said, I enjoy this product and would repurchase.

Just a heads up - the tops of these bags are a little narrow so they may not fit some garbage cans. That being said, I love these bags. They are big and a little stretchy. I love that they are compostable and a little more environmentally friendly. They hold a surprising amount of trash without ripping.

The bag will not open wider at the bottom. Its not a big deal but this makes the bag smaller. Useful for when you have extra trash and dont want to waste kitchen bags
