Where we live the life ordinary between our most recent and last best rides, Life Cycles takes the changing seasons and fast-forwards through them, slowing time only momentarily to reveal the highlights. And where we might take more than a few years to squeeze all the life from a new bike, Life Cycles does it in less than two hours. Life Cycles is a different bike movie, one with inspiring footage of bold riders, of beautiful scenery, and of change. The Life Cycles Film also uses thoughtful narration to propel you through the movie along with a soundtrack that keeps pace with the riders as they sweep through bermed turns, cut narrow paths of dust through twisty singletrack, and snake down sinuous lines on vast mountainsides. Of course, there is airtime, as any good bike movie should have. But you'll get it here in a palatable dose, along with a wide range of camera angles that makes you feel like you were there and wish afterwards that you actually were.If you love riding, you'll love the Life Cycles Film. Featuring riders like Graham Agassiz, Matt Hunter, Cam McCaul, Brandon Semenuk, and Thomas Vanderham, their individual riding styles are as different as one trail to the next. It's this diversity along with the diversity of nature, a thing we all love (and a thing largely missing focus in other films), that makes Life Cycles compelling.Product FeaturesHASH(0x16c343c68)

Best artistic documentary ever. Pristine and thrilling cinematography, stimulating soundtrack, inspiring narrative.
This is a gorgeous and exciting film, primarily focused on the experience and thrill of mountain biking, in many different settings. The narrator describes a biker's personal emotional journey through the culture and experience of biking, and the dynamic of a man's machine taking part in the essence of nature. The soundtrack as well lends itself to the immersive narrative and heightens the power of instinct and awe.Containing no interviews, specifications, or historical dates, this is an artistic piece and a splendid show of innovative cinematography. I have no idea how certain shots were pulled off. I sincerely hope this studio continues to make adventuresome, pure, exhilarating pieces like this in the near future!

Easily the best Mountain Bike film out there.
I'm not sure about you but there are a lot of Mtn. Bike films that are either really juvenile or just plain bad. This one is neither and it's a breath of fresh air to the genre. It perfectly marries the natural beauty of the outdoors and the exhilarating flow of the bike trail. With a great soundtrack behind it this film is absolutely enjoyable. Leave all the rest behind because these people are the real thing.

I saw a few bits of the movie on you tube ... i hat to see the whole thing... i recon this is the most beautiful & well made MTB movie ever.. cos is not about how to...racing..advertising... no...!!! is about Biking...how it all starts & ends the why people who truly love mtb do what they do no matter the pain costs or weather...the beauty of life in every trail, the passion for nature and the link that some of os know is still there... i totally recommend it and for every one who has been round mine and saw it the feeling was collective... you just want to jump on your mtb and rip some mud!!!!

Not your usual MTB DVD
The quality of the filming, the vibrant, high gloss picture quality, the special effects, all combined with a fascinating story - this isn't your usual MTB DVD, it's like nothing you've seen before. From the arty early shots of bling components, right through the rest of the film, and then the extras (which are definitely worth a view), I can't wax lyrical enough about this. It's very very different to your classical MTB films like Roam (and Home), The Collective, Seasons, Follow Me etc - the music a much more mellow (dare I say, even a bit of Moby in there) but don't let that put you off - this is more of an experience than an hour or so of high jumps, fast berms, and free styling - there is a bit of all that included, but really, it's the most beautiful MTB film you've ever seen.I'm already looking forward to watching it again.

Some of the best videography you'll ever see
Even if you don't do bikes, this is visually stunning. The dialogue is cheesy, but beautifully read, the riding's the usual - but the sheer brilliance and creativity of the visuals are beyond anything I've seen before.Another nice touch is that all the packaging is made of paper - it shows it can be done.
