Excellent product
Very easy to use. Bonds very well to oil paints, love no sanding prior to painting. Will buy again and again!

Have no idea
Have not idea if it worked or not. It's the first time I've used it. It didn't 'feel' abrasive once I put it on but maybe I don't know any better. Paint pulled off in one spot of the whole room. Didn't do it any other way so no way to compare.

Use "Bondz by Zinsser Maximum Adhesive Primer" instead, this stuff doesn't work.
It doesn't help any paint to stick to any surface I have tried it on. I did exactly what the directions said, nothing bled through so I continued on and mixed it in with the paint. I tried it on car siding (real wood panels), my wooden door frames, and my wooden cabinets. When I tried calling the company multiple times to see if I am doing something wrong or if I have a defective bottle no one ever answers. I left three voicemails and an email over the course of a month with no response. What a waste of money. On the upside if you are looking for a good product I ended up using "Bondz by Zinsser Maximum Adhesive Primer" worked on all of my wood work that I was trying not to sand. Cost about $35 at Menards.

Absolutely amazing product
I love oil bond. Haven't seen anything like it in home improvement stores. It's fast and easy to use, no mess, no sanding. Sticks to surfaces like glue. I have painted kitchen cabinets using oil bond, and they are beautiful. I would recommend it to everyone I know. And thank you for fast shipping!

Huge time saver, works as advertised!
This is the real deal and saves so much time for me as a painting contractor. I was skeptical at first and had to do a few tests, latex paint with oil bond passed my scratch test over oil base trim very well. Oil base is very messy, smells in my client's home, takes forever to dry, is expensive to clean up and is all around time consuming. Oil bond eliminates all of these problems for me! I highly recommend!

Does not work on Polyurethane
I bought this product because it said that it would degloss polyurethane and help new paint to stick. I used as directed, followed all directions, to try and paint over windows that were coated with minwax polyurethane. It did not degloss the finish, paint did not adhere, it easily scratched off. This may work with oil based paint, but it does not work with polyurethane.

Excellent quality
Additive to primer paint on my kitchen cabinets so that I did not have to sand the wood beforehand because the cabinets were old and covered with shellac and years of grease and grim. Did excellent job.

Terrible product.
This did not work on all the finished wood, even after following directions. I spent A LOT of time scrapping off what I could and paid A LOT to a painter to fix the job that was botched due to this terrible product.
