A good collection of suncare products but I was not comfortable with the amount of chemicals used in these products especially for children. The products feel very heavy and greasy on the skin. When used, they did indeed block out any sun burn but I have decided in future to use the more natural products that have less chemicals in them.

Fantastic selection of sun creams. Ideal for my wife and I, as well as my grandchildren. Competitively priced as well. Have just started using the creams in the current heat wave. So far so good. Recommended.

This set contains of a SPF 50 mist spray, SPF 50 cream and SPF 30 liquid spray.The SPF 50 cream, contrary to other reviews, did absorb well and was odourless. I like it as it is great for kids and for certain activities around the garden where your appearance is not all that important it is great to be confident that your skin is not going to be burned later.The SPF 50 spray Im not so sure about - I just generally prefer creams as I can be sure i have got it everywhere.The SPF 30 liquid spray is see-through and does not leave the same kind of stains on your clothes when you apply a regular cream. This product actually smells like a holiday too.

I can't understand what would make you spend lots of money on suncream that gives you poorer UVA protection than e.g. Boots Soltan or Altruist suncream, and costs far more.Like much of the cosmetics and skincare industry, branding is all pervasive. But, with suncream, there is a really simple measure of how effective the suncream is - the UVA rating. The two suncreams I mentioned above get 5 starts, Amber Solaire doesn't. Why waste your money?

The two main things I like about this set are the high Sun Protection Factor (SPF) and the ‘Sensitive’ nature of the products. That basically means they are designed for those who either can’t use products which contain additional ingredients like perfume or choose not to. I’ve been using Ambre Solaire branded sun care products since I was little so have a lot of faith in them based on experience, and this set certainly works well for me. I’d have been happier with a higher level of protection against UVA (these products have 3 stars) but they are good.
