Strong magnets and padded to protect your gun. Holds anything with steel in it.
These are great! I was worried about how strong the magnets would be; no longer! They are more than adequate for even a heavy 45cal pistols with a big sight or scope. My H&K 45 is held so well, it takes a bit of a tug to get it separated.

Fine, but not magnetic on both sides.
Not a 2-sided magnet. Probably my fault for not reading closely. But, I was looking for a magnet that was magnetic on both sided. One, so that I could stick it to the inside of my metal gun cabinet magnetically and two so I could stick a pew-pew to it. Still was a nice product, just not what I needed. I'll be returning.

Single sided magnet
Single sided magnetic effect. I was looking for something to hold my extra magazines to the interior of my gun cabinet door. With how thin these things are I was expecting for the magnetic pull to have a double sided effect. Nope. One side is a superpower full magnet, the other dosent have any magnetic effect at all. I'm sure they'll work fine if your willing to drill into the surface your attaching them to, but at that point you may as well get a bolt and put some padding on it. I'll figure out something to do with them eventually as I'm too lazy to send them back, but I think I'm just going to see if I can get a high-strength bar magnet. I'll also note, they come with what appears to be two sided adhesive strips, but they're just single sided. I think it's supposed to offer padding between the block and whatever you're going to screw it to, but if your drilling into it, why do you care about padding it?Overall, I'd say the product is slightly misleading.
