Disney Presents A Family Christmas

This CD is such a delight and brings back so many wonderful childhood memories of Christams' past. We used to listen to it all through the season when I was younger and now I still listen to it and enjoy it every bit as much as I did then.A Family Christmas features all the classic Disney characters, a choir of children and a grown man singing many of your favorite christmas carols. The formula bubbles over with warmth and merriment! 'The Twelve Day of Christmas' is a standout becasue of all the craziness that ensues as characters forget their lines, 'Away in a Manger' is a suprise becasue it's a more religious song. As an added treat you get the rarely heard 'From All of Us to All of You' sung by Jimminey Cricket as the lst track. It's the perfect end to a perfect Christmas cd that's sure to be a staple in you celebrations for years to come.

Although I am possibly the greatest fan ever of Disney Children's Favorite Songs (see my reviews for Vol. 1-4), this CD disappointed me. I confess I expected Disney Family Christmas to exhibit the same sterling qualities that were so evident in the four volumes of Disney Children's Favorite Songs; however, in my opinion, it was sadly lacking. The songs are all Christmas classics, and Larry Groce and the Disney Children's Choir also perform this collection. It doesn't have the same high quality of original interpretation that was so appealing in the Disney Children's Favorite Songs collection, and I could not in good conscience give this album the same great reviews I gave the other four. It's Larry Groce, but I don't think he was given carte blanche to create the masterpiece he was capable of. The CD is OK, but I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend it. Such a shame, in view of his other work on his other Disney albums. Altogether, it was rather disappointing.

I bought this album as a present for my wife, who lost her copy several years ago and was disappointed because she could not play it for our children. It is a wonderful album. Both of us remember listening to it over and over again when we were young. This really made the season for her, as she nearly wore out this copy before Christmas day.The only downside is that this copy seems to have some volume difference between tracks. Those with the Disney characters are very loud, while the others are quiet. Neither of us recall this issue on our original album, so it may be a default with this copy.I would highly recommend for those who want a Christmas album for the whole family.

An all time family favorite! Can't do Christmas without this CD. I listened to it on my way to Disney world the week before Christmas this past year and bawled the whole time overflowing with nostalgia.

My family has listened to this album every Christmas when it first came out back in 80's(?). We copied the vinyl record to cassette tape but both players died so we've been looking for a CD for many years and finally found it! It's a classic and must have for both Christmas and Disney lovers!

This disc was in really great shape, no scratches or skips, I listened to this constantly when my kids were little and love hearing it again and sharing with my grandson. It came quickly and was a good value.

Good condition. Brought back a lot of memories.

Had this as a child and wanted to relive some nostalgia during the holidays. Loved it.

Delighted with the cd, it is a family favourite that was lost and now we are all happy to enjoy this new one over the festivities

Este CD ya lo tuve hace años pero por motivos personales lo dejé de tener. Siempre me gustó mucho y ahora con mi hija de 4 años lo he vuelto a adquirir para disfrutar de esas canciones tan bonitas de Navidad. Se lo recomiendo a todo el mundo. El CD está en perfectísimo estado.
