No over-heat, good cord length, sturdy.
This charger never seems to get hot, when in use, like most of my other laptop chargers. The plug is a 3-prong style. It can be somewhat limiting to where I can plug it in, but I prefer this more "heavy-duty" style. It feels safer and sturdier to me. The adapter that goes directly into the laptop has an angle to it, so every once in awhile it takes some adjusting to one side or the other. Our original ones were circular, so were more of a just plug and go. We've been using this charger for about a month. In fact, I ordered a second one.

Doesn't work with Lenovo Z580
From the pictures on the website, the product looks like the original charger provided by Lenovo. It's not. Additionally, it didn't work. The status once plugged in listed, "plugged in not charging". This was with the OEM battery that is in good condition.

The value is great you can't beat it I been looking for a charger for my Lenovo laptop with no luck until I found here.I had no problems soo far and I am happy with my purchase

Defectuoso
El cargador esta defectuoso. Se comprobo con tester de voltaje y no entrega mas que 0,2 volt. No recomiendo el producto.

Defective cord
Got this cord 2 week ago and it’s making a strange noise and stops working at times. I doubt it is an original. Very bad quality.

Amazon service?
We were visiting our family, adapter failed. We went to Best Buy, they tested computer and adapter, computer ok adapter defective. Suggested we return to Amazon for replacement instead of buying one form Best Buy. We are expecting a replay from Amazon! ? We'll see what happens
