GANCOWISE 5lb Aluminum New CO2 Tank, DOT Approved Gas Cylinder with CGA 320 Valve for Kegerators and Draft Beer Dispensing

Needed a second one for my kegerator, since they no longer fill them locally. The tank arrived in great condition. Has five years before needing to be hydro tested, which is the maximum. Hopefully, I don't need another tank anytime soon, but if I do, I will get another GANCOWISE.

I don't know much about CO2 tanks, but I have been wanting to use a tank and a converter to save some money on CO2 for my SodaStream. When I saw this GANCOWISE 5lb Aluminum New CO2 Tank, I ordered it. It looks bright and shiny. It's not too heavy or too big. It should work well on the counter and according my calculations, it should provide the equivalent CO2 of 5 1/2 regular SodaStream canisters. I paid about $21 for the CO2 which is close to the price of a single SodaStream canister. Upfront costs are the tank and an adapter.I filled it today and the representative at the CO2 company looked at the date on the canister (you can see it in the photo). It is 6/2024. Apparently, canisters need to be tested and recertified every 5 years so mine is good for a while.

Solid tank with beautiful finish. More importantly, the stamped ratings and CGA valve allow refilling or swaps at local gas distributor. Worked well for my beverage carbonation needs.
