Annoying sound
I’ve always wanted a light Saber since I was a kid, finally picked one up for my own kids. It’s fun to use. Very easy to take out and put in. It changes colours. The colours themselves are bright and vibrant. My only annoyance with it is the sound, which is very annoying, but can be turned off by pressing the button a few times.

This is a surprisingly impressive light saber toy which is great value
The media could not be loaded. Currently priced at £6.99, this lightsaber toy offers great value for a fun and affordable Star Wars-inspired experience. For the price, it’s surprisingly decent, with a range of features that make it a hit with kids. The colour-changing LEDs are vibrant, and the fact that it offers seven different colours adds a lot of variety during playtime. The sound effects are a nice touch and certainly bring the lightsaber to life, though they’re very loud, which can be a bit much indoors. Unfortunately, there’s no option to turn the sound down or off.The overall build quality is okay, especially considering the low price. It’s made from lightweight plastic, which does feel a bit cheap, but it’s still sturdy enough for kids’ roleplay sessions. The handle doesn’t really resemble the iconic Star Wars design, leaning more towards a generic sci-fi look, and the blade is a little shorter than I’d like. However, for younger kids, the size works just fine. The unique non-circular blade shape might catch some people off guard, but it doesn’t take away from the overall fun.One of the best features is the built-in rechargeable battery, which uses USB-C—something you don’t often find in budget toys. It’s a real bonus not having to fuss around with disposable batteries. The lightsaber charges relatively quickly and holds enough power for an afternoon of play. The blade is retractable and stays in place thanks to a simple clip mechanism, making it easy to store when not in use.Pros:- Bright and colourful LEDs with seven colour options 🌈- Rechargeable via USB-C 🔋- Lightweight and easy for kids to handle- Decent sound effects that add to the experience (even if a bit loud) 🔊Cons:- Blade is a bit short 😕- Handle design feels generic and plasticky- Very loud with no way to adjust the volume 🔈Overall, it’s a fun and affordable lightsaber toy that delivers more than you’d expect for the price. It’s perfect for kids who want to act out their favourite scenes, even if it’s not the most premium option available.

Nice sword but with very annoying sound
This sword came well packaged and looks exactly like in the photo. I got this for my son who liked it a lot but for me it has an annoying noise that I couldn't stand. The sword is made of plastic material which looks cheap but I think ot just justify the cheap price it has,it doesn’t look very durable,it has different lights and every time it hits something it makes another sound. It is a nice toy for kids but not for parents 😂

Cheap plastic, charging but no sounds or lights!
This is a cheap plastic light saber set, which sounded fairly good fun with lights and sound. There's a button to start the sound and light, and a clip you can squeeze to release the extendable plastic white sword bit. It doesn't pop out or anything though which is a shame. Also, although I could see the charging light, even after a few hours, it still wouldn't turn on. So, I can't really say I would recommend this, it's cheap, plasticky, and didn't work. Disappointed.

Not great but not too bad
This is a decent lightsaber for the little ones, but I find that it gets startlingly loud and there's no way to adjust that which is a shame since they often wanted to play this during the night when it was dark outside, but it's just far too loud that it'll distract the other little ones who are in bed.The beam part of the sword is telescopic so the plastic segments can be pulled out to create a larger blade, but it's a bit flimsy feeling and can sometimes get weirdly jammed. When the little ones are swinging the sword around, the blade ends up retracting back too easily. The coloured lights and look of the lightsaber is cool considering its price, and the little ones do like it, I just wish you could adjust the volume of it.

for star wars fun
This lightsaber toy is pretty cool. The LED colour-changing feature is really nice, with 7 different colours that keep the playtime exciting. The sound effects add to the fun, making it feel like a real lightsaber from Star Wars. The saber is expandable, which is great for storage and makes it easy for my kids to carry around. The light-up feature works well in both dim and bright settings, and it definitely brings a lot of fun to their games. However, the build quality could be a bit more durable.

Sounds and lights
The light saber is easy to charge up using the USB C cable, and seems to have a good amount of charge in it.The lights are bright and the colour can be changed by using the button on the handle. The blade of he sword can be flicked out using a release button on the handle, and then retracted back into the handle for storage. It makes noises when the lights are on, and it makes swishing sounds when the sword is swung about, similar to in the movie. It is quite loud and the kids enjoy it, but I have to say the sounds are rather annoying and I haven't found a way to turn them down or turn them off.

Looks good, because it is good.
When Star Wars was released way back in the 1970s, I bought a lightsabre toy from Woolworths. It was nothing more than a single-colour (red) torch with a long, fixed-length, translucent plastic tube stuck on it. It took 2 x D-cell batteries and emitted barely any light. It really only worked properly during one of the infamous power cuts that the 70s are associated with. This lightsabre, on the other hand, is leagues above the one I had as a child. And this one has a built-in rechargeable battery that can be charged using a USB-C cable. It also expands, like a real lightsabre; you can change the colour of the lights; and you don't have to be in absolute darkness to see it. If you buy a second one, they can be joined together. Amazing!Let's not forget the sound effects, which add an extra element of fun. For the price (£7.99 at the time of review), this toy is excellent value for money, and I recommend it.
