Works great but did get a bad batch of bags which was promptly replaced
Edit : A representative reached out and very quickly sent me a new kit. I’m glad to report that the first 8 bags out of the new kit have all held vacuum perfectly. It looks like I just got a bad batch of bags. I am very pleased with this kit and definitely would buy more. Thanks for the great customer service and great product.*Photo was taken a few minutes after the roll was sealed and vacuumed. Initially the bag was super tight against the roll and after a few minutes it was already this loose. After another 30 mins you wouldn’t be able to tell it was even vac sealed. Kinda defeats the purpose of the kit. *The bag are nice and fairly heavy duty but I’ve had 7 out of 10 bags not hold vacuum. The pump is fine and works well. Trust me, I’ve been using it non-stop trying to figure out if I’m doing anything wrong. I make sure to use the fancy bag closers and also put the seal on a smooth surface and run my finger along it to make sure it’s 100% sealed. The seal gives a positive feel when sealed so I know it’s sealing. I have a feeling it’s sucking air at the end of each seal. Not happy and definitely would not purchase these again.

Easy to use, works well
So far I've been very pleased with the Elegoo Filament Storage Bags (manual) Vacuum kit. I spent a little time debating with myself between the kit with the manual pump vs the electric pump, but in the end I went with the manual and I'm glad I did. The manual pump is easy to use and I wont have to worry about it being charged whenever I need to use it.The bags are sized so that fit a Kg spool of filament and they pump down fairly quickly. I do throw a desiccant pack into the bag with the filament. So far the bags are holding their vacuum and I'm very pleased with the purchase.

Good for what they are.
I've had one under vacuum for a few hrs. now. they are over size food storage bags, if you have a food saver compatible device with an accessory sucker on it, use that!! ive used these type bags a long time now and they have a 10% fail rate so these should be fine. FYI larger than 1KG rolls will not fit. For larger rolls i use small clothing storage bags. it would work much better with a larger pump though.

Works right out of the box
Exactly what 3D print hobbyists need. I have saved all my filament bags that are resealable, or the 1 gallon zip type storage bags. This...and for the price...is a way better solution. I wanted reusable storage for my Nylon filaments...something better than just shoving it in a bag and hoping it does'nt collect moisture. So far im impressed...A few things...I squished out all the air I could before using the pump, it takes less time. When using the pump, place the bag on a flat surface, that seemed to help get as much air out as possible. I also put dessicant packs inside the spool center hole.

Simple
Very simple solution to filament storage. These bags and a silica packet or 2 and your good to go. The rechargeable vacuum is pretty fast and strong for its size. Reusable bags are good quality. I would definitely buy again if the need arises.

Nice simple storage method
Overall, these are a really handy way to put rolls of filament in long term storage. They are decently heavy-duty, easily fit a roll of filament and a package or two of desiccant in there with them. The only slightly annoying feature of these, and its not a surprise, but the pump is smaller and you do have a to pump it quite a bit (maybe 1 - 2 minutes straight) to fully purge the bags of air.If this is something you won't use often or you don't mind pumping, then go for this. If you do think you will be using this often or you don't think you can handle the pump, then find one that runs on USB battery.

4 out of 5 held vacuum
Only 4 out of 5 of these I tested held vacuum for over a week. They are not bad overall, most other brands I have tested have similar bad seals on some bags but I prefer the style with a hard plastic disk over the vacuum port, they are much easier than these bags with soft ports to get a good seal between the vacuum and the bag with.

Great storage bags for filament, vacuum pump is great but needs a flat surface
I was hoping that there would be a bit more of a solid connection between the pump and the vacuum bags. As it is, you have to place it on a flat surface and press the pump against the bag for it to work. Would love to see a new version of the pump that can clamp onto the bag or something similar.I guess I could also design and 3D print it too :D

Great way to keep filament "fresh"
The media could not be loaded. Our family does a fair bit of 3D printing and there is a noticeable difference in print results when the filament is stored at the right humidity levels. We've invested in a filament dryer/dehumidifier, but without the means to store the treated filament it's a short term solution that needs to be repeated before each print. This 30-pack of filament storage bags is the perfect solution for this issue, and my initial testing has produced great results. The product comes with 30 bags, 5 "sealing clips" (to help with the zipper closure), a small battery-powered pump, a USB-A to USB-C charging cable, and instructions. The bags are a decent thickness, with one side consisting of textured plastic. This small feature helps the bags conform to the filament spools ensuring the bags hug all the crevices and creates an airtight enclosure. I'm not sure the sealing clips are needed as starting and then completing the sealing of the zipper enclosure is easy enough to do with your fingers.I wasn't sure what to expect from the small vacuum pump, but after fully charging it and then trying it out I was very impressed. Operation is simple; place the pump over the valve on the bag, indicated by a small circle, press the power button and then let it do its work. I've included a video of how this works. I didn't attempt to squeeze any air out of the bag before trying the pump, so the bag was full of air. Even still, it took less than a minute to pump all the air out of the bag.I wasn't aware filament vacuum bags existed, but now that I know it's going to be the only way I will store my filament reels. I'll need to run some of the older ones through the dehumidifier before storing them, but if you have fresh filament (i.e., recently sealed from the manufacturer) I think you can safely store it in these bags without having to run through a dehumidifier. Even if you don't own a dehumidifier I would still invest in this set to help keep your filament in good shape. The pricing seems on par, if not a bit better, then other products offered so I'd definitely put this at the top of your list for filament vacuum storage bags.

Same generic bags as everyone else has, but the pump is nice
Mostly ordered these because I ran out of bags and the 30 + pump bundle was a good price. The pump works pretty well, sometimes it struggles to get a seal on the bag but just holding it down usually fixes that. If it gets a good seal it'll vacuum hands free, but that doesn't always work.Much nicer than using the hand pump if you need to seal a lot of bags, I recommend getting an auto pump or similar.

Perfect for Filament Storage
The ELEGOO 3D Printing Filament Storage Bag Vacuum Kit with Auto Pump is the perfect solution for the 3D printing people that use multiple filament rolls. I have on average about 15 rolls of filament open at any point in time. These are due to different colours of different types such as wood or glow in the dark. AS some of these rolls don’t always get used regularly it is advisable to keep them moisture free. This kit comes with 30 bags which is more than enough for my needs. The opening is a lil on the tight side but once past that they rolls fits nice. The rechargeable compact vacuum removes the air from the bag effectively shrink wrapping the filament and preventing dust and moisture. The vacuum is USB C rechargeable and will do numerous bags before the need to recharge. The only thing missing from the kit is the desiccant packs but fortunately they come with the original filament.Overall this the perfect solution for keeping open rolls of filament clean and moisture free.

Easy to use, and a nice way to prolong the lifespan of opened filaments.
Was a little skeptical on how well the tool would work, but it was easy to use and worked well. Thus far, the bags seem to seal quite well and this is a nice way to preserve some opened filaments and extend their lifespan. The only small point of annoyance, was that the opening of the bags is a bit snug so getting the filament in is a bit awkward, but they do fit and once in there is adequate space inside the bags. Sealing takes a minute or two, depending on you. It is a manual effort, but it isn't difficult by any means. You simply align the tool with the circle on the bag, and manually pump the tool to extract the air. You don't need to peel anything off or do anything special to the bag, it works as is. The first few times might not be self evident that it is working, but as you continue you will see the bag shrinking as the air is pulled out. These are a nice pick-up and 20 bags is more than adequate for my personal needs.Likes:- 20 bags is a good amount to work with & suits my needs well.- Bags seal very well.- The included pump tool works well with these bags, and can relatively easily have a bag sealed in a minute or two.- Preserving filament will make these bags pay for themselves in value.Dislikes:- The opening of the bag is slightly snug and makes it a little awkward to get the filament in. But the bag is large enough that once you get passed that point, it fits well.
