Seems to be the right thing for the job
Ok, I pride myself on honest reviews. I know when I'm buying something, I don't want to hear "it's great" when it's not, or "This is terrible" based on something outside the seller's control. Reviewing AC drain cleaner is tough because you don't know, did it actually work? The quote I usually use is "I have not had a wolf attack since I painted my mailbox black. Wolves must hate black mailboxes."Why am I saying all this? Well, my AC is doing just fine, and I'm using this product. I cannot say what will happening 12 months from now. So, what can I say?* I prefer this to the "pills" I have been using. This seems to be more of a pipeline flush and should work better than the straight bleach pours that some do.* It is a two-step process, which seems like an odd like, but I feel like it's a more thorough process than just bleach down the line or the pills. You pour this in (you use a full bottle per treatment). Then about 30 minutes later, chase it with some water. Pretty easy.* This is a four-month supplyNow, to that last part, is it really four months? They recommend once a month. If your AC is well maintained, I'm reasonably certain you could use this every other month or once a quarter.Nothing replaces good AC maintenance. This is not going to fix an AC that is already clogged up (ok, they imply it will, I don't know...). Get a good service out to properly clear your lines if you're already getting water backed up in the system. Then, use this to make sure you don't get back into that state. If your AC is working well, then use this to keep things humming along.

Bottles leak
Good size. DeliveredI haven't used the product yet.But two bottles had loose caps. Some liquid leaked into the pouch. It can't be so difficult to put a seal on .

Easy maintenance for A/C
Ordered these four bottles of Brody‘s AC drain line cleaner for maintenance rather than remediation. Seems to work, I saw a lot of gunk come out. It was easy to use by following the simple instructions on the bottle. It’s a small price to pay to have peace of mind that my AC drain line is clean and the AC is working efficiently to avoid service calls.

Seems to work, more preventative than remediation
First things first, note to the manufacturer: it is neither difficult nor complicated to screw a cap onto a bottle firmly. Whether by hand or using a spiffy machine to do it for you, it just plain ain't hard to do this right, and it's just annoying to open up a box with bottles and see caps that haven't been securely tightened. As to the product itself, I didn't have a fully clogged drain to test it on, but I had some gunk in my condensate line. Followed directions, some gunk came out.I've cleared lots of condensate drains, mostly in apartment buildings. Any squeeze bottle with a long nose and a flat top is your friend to get this done as easily as you can.Once you have it running, you can use this stuff to clean it out some more, but you'll either be coming back or hanging around for a half hour so you can chase it with water.

Regular maintenance
I'm a firm believer in enzyme products in general and I've used an enzyme product for sinks, toilets and showers with great success. I couldn't tell you the last time I had to plunge a toilet. A similar product for the AC drain line makes perfect sense to me. This is one of those products that you won't realize it is working until chatting with a friend and they mention having a tech come out to clear their drain line and you realize you've never needed to make such a call.

Works better than vinegar or bleach
We have our two A/C units professionally maintained with twice yearly preventative maintenance, but it's still required to clean the drain pipes monthly here in hot and humid Florida. I've used bleach, I've used vinegar (both followed by a hot water chaser) with good results, but I wanted to see if there was any improvement with this professional cleaner from Brodys. The instructions are simple: shut off the A/C, shake the bottle up, pour the entire contents down the A/C drain line, wait 20 minutes and then flush with 8oz hot water. We just had our A/C serviced about 5 weeks ago, so I wasn't expecting to see much come out from the drain pipes outside, but there was a good amount of crud flushed out, and more than I usually see when I use the bleach or vinegar method. While most modern homes have an automatic shutoff to prevent flooding, homes without that protection risk flooding/water damage if the A/C drain pipe become clogged. Aside from that, unclogging an A/C drain pipe is not fun (I've had to do it). This product is cheap insurance, and I'll be using it going forward.

works but cheap
I recently purchased the Brodys A/C HVAC Drain Line Cleaner 4-pack, hoping it would be a reliable solution for keeping my drain lines clear. While the cleaner itself seems to work well, I was disappointed with the quality of the bottling. The bottles are flimsy, and the caps don’t seal tightly, leading to potential leaks during storage or transportation. This makes it inconvenient and messy, especially if you're storing the cleaner in different locations like a home, office, or commercial building. Given that it’s a 4-pack, the packaging should be more robust. Unfortunately, the poor bottling outweighs the cleaner’s effectiveness, which is why I can only give it 2 stars.
