Problem solved!
If my previous review was published, please ignore it. We had received only one of the two kits we ordered, but the second arrived today. So it seems the issue we had was purely a shipping one, and we've canceled our request for a refund. The steel is a little curved, but straightened out well enough. We're very happy with this product, and would buy it again.

wonderful
Better than I originally thought the product would be. The front of my yard is a brown powder coat edging and was not sure about the rusting and how it would look. The pantina is turning out to be just as nice and the painted finish.quite heavy gauge

I wouldn't buy this again
Most reviews had good reviews of the thinner 18 ga., and most reviews of the 16 ga. were poor, but I thought a heavier steel would be best. As others have said, many of the pieces come with a curve to them which is a bit of a pain if you want straight lines. Also due to the way they are packaged, some pieces are stuck together and difficult to separate. They sell 12 inch long start and stop end pieces that are required to fill in the overlap section on each end of a run. The pieces are eight feet long, but there is an 8 inch overlap area on each end, making the effective length of each piece less than 8 feet, and dependent on how many pieces are used in each run. The end pieces make up for the overlap loss in length in the center if only two pieces are used, but as more pieces are added to the length of a run, overlap loss of length increases as each piece is added, if that make sense. I also purchased their "speed clips" after installing my first run because of the way it looked, but those do not fit the 16 ga. The speed clips I received were a mixture of the galvanized and non-galvanized type and Amazon refunded me without requiring a return. As for installation, easy if your ground is soft, not so much with hard dry ground even if a shovel is used to pre-score the soil. I wish I would have just purchased steel, in an even heavier ga., a welder, and a grinder, done this the best way. If you have the skill, or would like to learn a new one...do that.

Simple to install
Awesome product, this is a little thinner than the stuff you see in commercial applications and has a rounded edge, but it works just fine. It weathered nicely for us in a few months.

Good metal edging
This product matched what we were expecting. Looks like metal edging I’ve seen st higher end commercial properties. Easy to install.

What I received is not what I ordered.
We did not receive what I ordered. We paid $72.79 for what we ordered: Coyote Landscape Products 636006. We received Coyote Landscape Product 63610: This item: Coyote Landscape Products, 5 Piece Steel Home Kit, Raw Steel Edging with 15 Edge Pins, 4" by 8', 18… $51.47. I LOVE what we received in error and we installed it and didn't realise it was incorrect until we went to order another kit. I would much prefer the item #63610. The only reason I give it 1 star is because we did not receive what we ordered and what we did receive is a less costly product.

1st - wrong item, 2nd - Arrived damage. 3rd - Can’t keep a straight line
First, the wrong item was sent. Second, when the replacment order came, all the edging came in bent, making it difficult to install and get a straight line. When installed, not only could you notice the bent area not being straight, but everywhere else. The gauge of the metal is too thin to keep a straight line.

Bent and not as promised
They were not straight at all. I still unpacked them but even if you can bend them it is almost impossible to make them completely straight.
