This chair is very comfortable and well built. Unfortunately I wouldn't have purchased it if the dimensions were given correctly. Product reads 41" x 23" x 19" and this is deceiving. The chair is a little over 42" high but the seat is only 18" wide, not 23" wide. 23" includes the arms which are only 2 1/2" wide each. The 19" represents seat depth but it's really 18 1/2.". Basically the chair isn't wide enough for a big man. My husband is disappointed. He is 6'5" and weights 310. The seat is very narrow for a chair that states a 400 lb weight limit.

I've been searching for a chair to sit in at our football tailgates. Due to hip and low-back issues, regular portable folding chairs (the type you sink down into) are extremely uncomfortable for me. I need a very upright and supportive chair to avoid pain. This chair is perfect, particularly since it reclines at various angles. It is also extremely sturdy. I would describe the seat as very firm. Thank you for a great product!

Too bad, the design is great, had the manufacturer left out plastic, which might sound a reasonable option in this price range (but I'd love to pay more for something that actually works...).The first item arrived damaged (amazingly, the plastic bottom of one of the feet arrived broken out of the frame), primarily because the shipper couldn't care less about covering the legs with padding. Moreover, there was literally NO packing material involved, except for a plastic bag withing the severely broken cardboard. Of that, I took several images before opening it.The second cardboard box was damaged as well (photos are available), but the chair was not. Strangely enough, the cardboard packing already had repaired surfaces over it, which bore quite a bit of resemblance to the reinforcements I had applied to the return package.So far, so good.Opening the chair is no small feat, but it can be done without inexplicable exertion. However, EVERY TIME you open and close the chair, the plastic on the handle is getting thinner and thinner. Wouldn't you say that one would buy a collapsible chair because it can be stored after each use without it getting worn out? Well, that will never happen to this design.At the moment, I am still giving it the benefit of doubt, but as the plastic on the handle is getting thinner and thinner, my best guess is that this one is going back too.Too bad, this could have been a winner.(update on April 6, 2020)We are using this indoors and hardly ever fold it for storage/cleaning. That will certainly extend its life.As I never cared for reading the warranty info until after a few days after 30 days, I ran out of what the seller posts as mandatory registration for enabling the warranty.However, the seller courteously registered the product after my informing them about my inadvertently overlooked initiation. For that, I am raising my rating from two stars to three.(update on December 30, 2020)As it is opened/folded only about twice a month, my concern about the wear and tear seems to be moot.The chair is working fine, but I cannot raise my rating, because no matter how I look at it, the armrest is still this flimsy plastic...

They are a bit heavy to carry around to events, however they recline to the position that is comfortable and are sturdy.I weigh 210 pounds and 6' 3" tall with long legs 36" inseam. Very comfortable!

First, I wanted a chair to take camping that wouldn't fall apart with my ample girth.I was worried it wouldn't be wide enough, but it seems fine.The backrest is high enough when upright, I could rest my head on it.It's made very well, it seems, it's a fabric that's a mesh and attached into grooves like a director chair.It would have been five stars except for my almost falling.NEVER use this on tile or hardwood. The tips of the legs will slide out from under you.As I got up, the chair shot backwards, nearly dumping me on the floor.Luckily, I caught another chair and went face first into it.To be honest, I'll use this in grass mostly, so it won't be a problem.

I bought 4 chairs a year ago and I’m very happy with my purchase. They are comfortable, durable, very compact, easy to use and easy to store. The perfect size for small area. The chairs are not heavy so it’s easy to fold them and unfold and move around. And very easy to store.

I hesitated when I ordered these chairs....I had 2 outdoor chairs for 3 years and they finally gave out...We leave them outside all year as we live in Florida....Wasn't sure these new ones would be comfortable....they are wonderful!!I like that the backs can be adjusted ..you can have it just the way you want...the fabric is nice and dries quickly after a rain...Easy to fold up too...couldn't ask for a better chair....Now just hope they are long lasting!!

These chairs are suppose to take 400 lbs. The general strength of the chair is fine EXCEPT for the gears that allow the chair to recline the back straight or lower. Very dangerous,the gears slips very often, causing for potential serious accidents.I fell on my back once and it often slip a gear or two.I do not recommend

These chairs are great on t he balcony - numerous positions to find the right spot. Good quality. Look forward to using them this summer.

For the weight limit on the chair it should be made wider
