Gloves fit perfectly and are useful for any animal that might bite or to prevent scratches if a large bird wants to go up your arm. Very satisfied with these gloves.

We used these gloves for handling feral cats. You don't have the ability to scruff them, since the gloves are too bulky, but the protection is worth it. They are large for women's hands, but it's 100% worth it. My friend was fully bitten by a feral momcat when transferring her to a carrier, but the cat could not bite through the gloves. My friend was only bruised on her knuckle.I do think that a very strong animal with fangs could bite through the leather, but these gloves would still offer some level of protection. If you are dealing with feral kittens, they can't get through this leather.

I bought these to handle a rescue dog I brought in, he's very skittish and sometimes bitey so I decided to get these gloves. He's 6 lbs and while yes he's very little, his bites still hurt and can break skin. So far so good with these, he just gets a piece of glove instead of my fingers. 5/5 would buy again!

While I didn’t use them for the whole grooming did use them for a nursing home chihuahua retrieval. Poor little girl only knows and trusts 1 person, so she’s impossible to care for. I gave her my thumb and index finger last time (it took 2 weeks to heal up). This time, with the gloves, she got her bite and relaxed and I didn’t even have a bruise! Great padding, tough suede exterior, I even used them for a pottery firing.

Bought it to prevent injury as I play with my Pitbull. I still feel the bite, but no punctures. You will feel right through this. It does not prevent the actual pain of the bite. But your skin will remain in tact. Only the hands are extra padded. Seems of good quality material and has not rip or tear after use. Comfortable. Only the arms are thin and .... ouch spot!

These are a life saver ... 2 maine coon kitties that just LOVE. gettting nail trims! and a pomeranian that thinks a brush is a chew toy attached to my arm! ..SO... after a LOVE bit from one of said kitties -took 8 months to heal... I wasn’t going to chance it . These gloves are amazing ... He tried to show affection for the nail trimmer again and my arm was protected .

I bought these to protect my hands and arms as I treated my cats for ringworm....they were just too bulky to work in. They are good and thick, though, if that is what you need.
