I used this while hemming some pants for my kids back to school. She is in the wearing adult size but they’re all too long stage, this little magnetic guide helped so much and my hem seams look more professional!

I love this so much! It lets me sew a nice straight line without paying attention! It’s easy to line up. Easy to use. Highly recommend.

Strong magnet gripped well on the base of my Singer Featherweight and did not move around. It also did not leave scratches on the finish (this is a BIG thing with vintage machine owners). It is a useful and handy tool that has made sewing more convenient.

This seam guide comes in a clear ziplock bag, with instructions on its label. The magnet is strong and holds it in place very well on a sewing machine metal plate, resistant to sliding but can be lifted up to reposition. Unfortunately the family member it had been ordered for approached it with an undeserved negative attitude and didn't want to give it a fair chance to try it out. But with a receptive user, if properly positioned, it would be helpful for straight seams. The second feature of using the back end for curved seams seems like it would have limited usefulness for only specific curves. It is a low-cost accessory to try and see if you like it.

It didn't really fit my sewing mashine. Even with the metal tab that was with it wasn't sticky enough. Keeps coming off of the sewing machine. But when it is attached it works great.
