Review of ONEST 20 Pieces Wooden Dollhouse Family Set. Items were delivered by the date promised. All of the items were in a single cardboard box, which I did not expect. That being said, they were all in good condition. I purchased this set because it had two families! There is a "white" family and a family of color. This is not something I see often, and I liked this aspect of the set. Each family has a grandfather, grandmother, father, mother, son, daughter, baby boy and baby girl. The set also includes a plastic dog with a bowl of food and a plastic "cat" with a bowl of food. Both pets are not in proportion to the family members, but I don't think it really matters because these are dolls that are to be played with by children. All of the "people" have very wide feet/shoes, which helps them stand upright on their own. They also have bendable legs to help them sit and arms that move up and down (no bending at the elbow). I purchased this set because I can give each family away to a child who may like to play with dolls and dollhouses, which I make from cardboard. My impression is that these dolls would be appropriate for ages 2 or 3 years old because they are not as realistic as the usual 1:12 dolls. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend this set to others for purchase.

As a mental health counselor, I use play therapy techniques in my therapy room. While searching for dolls for my dollhouse that my clients could use, I was pleasantly surprised to find a set that included dolls of different ethnicities. The dolls are the perfect size and there's a nice variety of ages in the set, so clients can choose the ones that best fit their needs. I highly recommend this set to any therapist who uses play therapy in their office.

I ordered these to replacement some old dollhouse dolls for my therapy sessions with children. Most of the dolls are fine and are as expected. Unfortunately, 2 of the dolls were not made well and will not stand up (one leg is longer than the other).
