I used these, actually we had two lots of these (Hot Orange) on a boat wrecking trip (out of Brighton 1h30m). Bright sun, calm water and easy tide throughout the day - these got nailed continuously by the cod. Various damage (nipped tails, slashed with teeth from something bigger down there).Only surpassed by the blue sidewinder on the day that proved a little more attractive.I've just bought the pearl ones too as they're a popular colour with wreck bass. Will update shortly following another wrecking trip.

Been using these since February and they have proven deadly for inshore Pollack in anything up to around 60 feet of water. As long as it's not too windy and you're drifting <1 knot they can easily be fished just on the end of your line (although an extra inline swivel means you can add a length of flouro and make these things even better). Compared to frozen sandeels they tend to pick out better fish and they also mean less deep hooking. In deeper water or extra tide we've fished them on the end of a boom setup and they have been just as effective.The only time they don't work is when there are visibilty problems, we noticed the catch rate crashes when the plankton levels increase. In which case it's always handy to have either the Mac-Fire sidewinders to hand or a cheaper option is the Black or Black & Pink powerbait worms ( http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003ZZK9XU/ref=as_li_tf_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1634&creative=6738&creativeASIN=B003ZZK9XU&linkCode=as2&tag=a0b7a-21 ) . But overall these are fantastic lures and you should have no problem getting 20/30 fish per lure before they start to fall apart.

Good price & speedy delivery, ive caught a few decent fish with these mainly pollock definitely glad I got them, going to try another colour & maybe get some smaller 1s & use from the shore

Bought as a gift for an avid and very proficient sea fisherman…..his face lit up the last time we bought him some similar coloured lures…..

Black.. solid (no internal holo appearance), this is great for deep and overcast days where the solid black gives a great siluette. Quality just as good as all the others (I have most colours now!).Adding a bit of bait (mackerel) or even a spinner spoon on the front for vibrations also helps with these darker/deeper days.

I placed an order for the item shown above - one pack of 6inch and one pack of 4 inch lures.I actually received one pack of 4 lures (6 inch) - I have rechecked and nowhere does it say you are just buying a single pack per the advertising picture.

Big Pollock love these lures. Fish them slow and deep.
