This book is a must have for all art t lovers and collectors.Many would not have known the treasure of nuggets in the book about Raja Ravi Varma and probably the common man would not have perceived how Gods looked in human form but for him. Otherwise it would remained only with the royalty and the rich. The oleographs of Raja Ravi Varma with its detailed printing process is a piece of art history itself .The author has produced a magnum opus .

The script that weaves through the artist’s life and family and environment is aptly supported by the creative prices relating to that time - relations, location, et al. Am enlightened to say the least.I’m very content with my decision to acquire this.
