I am giving this review with a caveat: it's only been a week.I have been swimming at the Y for about a year now, a few times a week. The chlorine really destroyed my hair, which was once long and lush and snow white.I had to cut it ALL off, because it was breaking off and was in food, on furniture and my pillow was filled with busted hair every morning.I finally had it.I went to get a cut and my stylist told me my hair was pretty damage, broken off in big sections in the back.I have naturally curly thick hair that went snow white, rather than gray. It was past my shoulders and I got so many compliments on it.Well ... I told the stylist to just cut off what was damaged.She took a few photos of the back of my head and showed them to me.It ALL had to be cut. Short. Pixie cut.But, my health and recovery from knee repair surgery was more important and swimming was making all the difference, so there was no choice. I had to cut the hair.Well, I vowed to really protect the new hair coming in.I have a swim cap and keep my hair tight in it.I rinse my hair in the shower after swimming and then come home and shower again, with my own products in my own well water. The Y's shower water is still really hard on hair.I have been using this hair oil for a week.My hair is definitely softer.The only change to my routine is that I added this serum.I also use it when I go out riding in my convertible, exposing my hair to direct sunlight and road grime.I shower and put this in my hair afterward.A little goes a long way, so that's good. But, again, I have short hair - pixie cut.So, milage may vary.it feels very oily but not sticky.It smells okay. It's nice enough.If it's worth the price being asked is a question i can't really answer. I feel like it's doing good things for my hair. I have little curls that are soft, and the curls are becoming ringlets, which is a sign of healthy hair for my curly hair.So, for now, I am giving this five stars because I can see improvements in my hair and this is literally the only change in routine.

Scented (it smells similar to guava to me—a little sweet and a little fruity/floral). The oil is lightweight and not sticky. I usually use about 2.5 pumps for my slightly-longer-than-shoulder-length hair (mostly on the ends), otherwise it can start looking a bit greasy.I always condition my hair when washing, but it still is a bit dry/frizzy at the ends if I just leave it loose (oddly, it’s fine when I put it up in a ponytail). This helps with that a little, but I haven’t seen a major improvement in the few weeks I’ve been using it. My hair does seem softer, though, and this seems like a quality product.

It smells so good, it is enjoyable to use and almost has a pampering feel to it. The product is fluid but not water-like, I find it easy and enjoyable to use. It does a good job of taming my long, thick hair and keeping the frizzies and flyaways at bay. I like having this for days when I'm going to be away from home. It makes me feel more 'put together'. I don't use it daily so I can't say I've noticed any repairing or nourishing effects. I find it easy to use and just start with one pump into the palm of my hand and then lightly smooth it over my hair. Do another pump if needed (all depends on what kind of hair day I'm having). I like that this isn't as heavy as the product I've been using for the last year or so. That one, while it works great, it's heavy and I'd taken to putting it on with rubber gloves because it made my hands feel extremely filmy. This is much lighter, and I haven't used gloves yet.The 2.7oz Botanical hair oil arrives in a sturdy bottle and I appreciate the lid was taped down good to ensure it didn't leak or accidentally come off. It has a screw on cap with a well working pump top. Other than the front of the bottle most of the information is in another language so I referred to the listing for all the pertinent information. Made in Japan.

I like how it bonds with my hair. I don't feel greasy but my hair is smooth and soft. It has a light pleasant smell.

Review: Botanist Japanese Organic & Natural Hair OilI am a raging fan of Japanese skincare and hair products especially being Asian myself. I've grown up using Japanese shampoos but somewhere along the way American products took over. I am so grateful to rediscover all these amazing brands again. I used this oil following a shampoo and conditioner treatment from the same brand. I must admit, this oil is thick so needs a bit of working into the palms of your hands before running through the lengths. I especially focused on my frizz-fried ends. For reference, I have bleached, long hair And as you know, the hair shaft is dead so it's so important to coat it nicely to retain any hydration. I loved this brand of products because my ends were soft and styled well.

This makes my 2 B/C hair feel much sleeker and smoother at first, but by the next day, my curls are dried out and crunchier than if I hadn't used anything at all. :(

Great for dry hair. Smells great and doesn't weigh down hair. Works nicely with my current hair routine. Would definitely recommend getting.

I have fine wavy hair and this hair oil works on my hair very well. I don't see any sticky or heavy feeling while applying, the smell if amazing. It control my frizz and adds shine. I have seen noticeable difference in my hair since using it. I will buy again.

髪の毛のボリュームが出にくいくせ毛持ちです。今まで、ベタベタのヘアオイルを使っていましたが、こちらは指通りがよく、乾かしたあとは髪の表面だけが保護されている感覚で重くならずにすごく気に入っています。匂いも良いですし、乾かしたら残りすぎないのもお気に入りポイントです。

エアリースムースが生産終了したので、同じ香りのスムースに乗り換えました。体感できるほどの違いはないので、使えそうです。

シャンプーのBOTANISTを圧縮したようないい匂いさらさらでべたつきにくい

説明通り使用して、二回目を使用した次の日の朝には指通りが、心地よくなりました。ただ、私個人の好みの香りではないので、星🌟四つにしました。

匂いがとても好みで買ってよかったです！
