This is a review of 'Britains Beauty Sunguard Supreme SPF 60 Sunscreen, Broad Spectrum UVA/UVB Protection, Lightweight Formula for Sensitive Skin - 50g'.This is a sunscreen product that I assume is designed for use on the face. At first glance I thought this was tinted as it has a colour but when applied to the skin it seems transparent (my skin, at least, I don't know how it would look on darker skin tones as I have pale skin). The sunscreen is really mattifying and not at all greasy which is really nice. It also has a strong sunscreen scent that I don't love as I get overwhelmed by strong scents, but some may like this. I love that the company has been transparent about the ingredients and posted the full list to the amazon page as well as having it on the packaging. This meant I could easily paste the ingredients into inci decoder, which simplifies ingredients and checks for any nasties. This sunscreen seems to have all good ingredients, including several types of sunscreen, some vitamin C, and alpha arbutin for pigmentation control. It does have wheat germ oil which can be pore clogging for some people. It hasn't clogged my pores yet but I will report back if that changes. The packaging is nice too although I did have trouble getting the little foil cover off the packaging. It claims to have spf 60 which I've never seen in the UK before, only 50+ which I thought was due to our regulations around sunscreen. However, from looking at the ingredients, I can easily believe it has a high spf because it has about 5 different spf compounds.Overall I like the product and will continue using it.

Applies nicely, like a foundation color, non greasy, pricey
This would be a 5 star review but for two things. One is the price to amount ratio, it's expensive. The other is that I feel like the price premium is because it's SPF60 instead of 50, since there's very little on the box showing off any special more expensive processes involved in the production to justify it.The issue I have with that is that SPF50 protects against 98% of UVB rays, and SPF100 protects against 99%. The advantages of SPF60 over 50 are negligible. Even SPF30 is 97%, so it's a game of diminishing returns. To get the same extra protection as going from 30 to 50, you need to go to 100.All that aside, I really like this sun cream. It's very similar in color to the foundation I use, so it's much less obvious on the skin and very easy to put makeup over. I really handy if I've forgotten to put sunscreen on before my foundation, I can get away with putting this on after. It smells nice enough, it's quite faint, not at all overpowering, it soaks into the skin quickly and feels quite moisturizing. It doesn't feel heavy or greasy on and I don't notice it making my eyes sting if I'm getting sweaty while laying out in the yard (as happens with my cheap regular SPF50).At 5.99 as I write, I only use this on my face since it is such a small tube for the price. I really like that if I need to reapply it, there's no white residue to worry about. I wouldn definitely consider getting this as a facial sun cream. Recommended.

Definately works.
Very good for the most sensitive of people.Tried some on holiday and it really did block any kind of tan/burn from forming. Probably a little too well.Dont use this if you want any kind of tan.For sensitive kids though, this could prove to be essential.

Seems OK, but the package information is sparse.
This sun protection supposedly offers SPF60 protection which is good and high. It says its water resistant, to protect for 80 minutes, but the listing also says re-apply after going in the sea or pool. The box is pretty sparse in information other than the ingredients list, but again the listing says Use SPF 15 or higher and then apply a teaspoon of this on your face or neck - which I'm not really understanding. Not sure what part the SPF 15 plays, unless thats the rest of your body?Anyway the cream seems OK. It applies nicely, not too greasy and soaks in well. It smells a bit 'suncreamy' ie. quite pleasant. It’s an unusual orange/brown colour that reminds me of Germoline antiseptic cream. The expiry date is a little under two years. it has a light metalic sheen to it after its been applied, typical of products containing Titanium Dioxide. My wife tried it and really liked the way it went on.Despite the sparseness of detail on the packaging and listing, their website exists and looks credible.I can't verify the effectiveness as it’s not been sunny lately to try it! For me, the lack of detail and information on the packaging reduces my confidence in it and if it didn’t perform as specified could lead to serious consequences so I would use with caution until it’s proved reliable.

Gentle
The tube is small and there doesn’t seem to be a lot of cream in the tube. However it goes onto the skin very easily, rubs in quickly and leaves the skin feeling quite soft. I like the scent which isn’t overpowering but does linger on the skin for several hours. This could be a useful item to pop into a beach bag.

Great for the summer
I’ve been using this SPF 60 sunscreen lately, and it’s a solid choice if you're looking for high protection. The lightweight formula absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave a greasy residue, which is great for daily wear. What I really appreciate is that it's packed with Vitamin E and Aloe Vera, so it keeps my skin hydrated and feels soothing even on sensitive skin. Plus, it’s water-resistant for up to 80 minutes, which is handy if you’re active or spending time outdoors. It’s free from parabens, alcohol, and fragrance, so it’s gentle on my skin, which is a big plus. With its broad-spectrum protection, it shields against both UVA and UVB rays, making it a reliable option for sun protection and preventing skin damage.Overall, if you need a sunscreen that offers high protection without the fuss, this one’s worth a try.
