This baby is about two times hotter than my gas stove and boy, it is wicked does it get up to temp fast!It took less than ten minutes to assemble (comes partially ready to go) and is lightweight but stable. I would like it to be a tiny bit taller but for the price and quality, I’m extremely happy. My son has a severe nut allergy but loves Chinese food so we make it at home often. I’ve never made better fried rice than I did on my very first try with the Big Kahuna. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

If you want to be able to cook authentic chinese food, especially stir fry, you must have a very hot wok. Even with a good quality 15,000 btu burner on your stovetop, it's still not enough to get and keep a wok nice and hot. If you ever look in the kitchen of a chinese restaurant, they have a huge industrial wok stove with huge burners. The Big Kahuna is like having an industrial burner at your fingertips. No more liquid buildup when cooking meat because it evaporates with the Big Kahuna. No more runny sauces because the high heat carmelizes the sauce to the food. Even deep frying is easy, because the oil never cools down. I did a batch of won tons twice as fast as normal, because I had a bigger wok and didn't have to wait around for the oil to heat back up. Eastman Outdoors also has great customer service. When I originally got the kahuna, the burner wasn't igniting completely. I called the company, and they shipped a new burner to me fast, and I put in on in a snap. I didn't even have to prove the purchase or anything. They just took my name and address and shipped it to me. I'm very pleased with the Big Kahuna, and even with the defect, the company made right on it and fast. If you want a quality burner designed for a wok, this is it, and what a great price!!!

Love always wanted to have cookouts in the park, but I’ve never been much into grilling. I love cooking on woks though, and this thing is perfect. It’s easy to set up, relatively lightweight, and powerful as h*ll. Some reviewers have said it’s not very portable, and that’s kind of true, but mostly because of the propane tank that it uses (and because the legs don’t fold up). I bought a little foldable wagon for transporting everything, and it works just fine. Once I get outside with it, it takes me about 2 minutes to extend the legs and hook it up to the tank. Plus it attracts lots of attention. This wok burner is the talk of the town! Great investment if you wanna cook outdoors.

I hooked it up the the propane source for my home and it really fell far short of my expectations. Just for the heck of it, I hooked it up to a portable tank, and WOW! Can this thing perform! Guess to much regulation from the house propane. But heat is the trick. Veggies don't have time to steam and get soggy or mushy. They come out with plenty of smoky flavor, while still being crunchy. Lot's of compliments!This unit is a winner!

This thing burns hot. I use it mostly for wok cooking and deep frying. You will definitely get the wok hei using this. The only complaint is the legs are wide but still giving it a 5 star for performance.
