This is one of the best purchases I made this year. I have the traditional vacuum sealer but this is simple, effective and works extremely better than my bigger unit. Worked so well that I rearranged my pantry and put almost everything in mason jars.

I tested it... bought some spinach and put some in a jar that I sealed with this. Compared one week later. The spinach in the jar looks fresh. The rest is limp and not fresh.

Love this product. No need to adjust for differnt siz jars. Simply place on jar and engage. So easy! More $$ than I had hoped to spend but I wanted one that didn't need adjusting. Very pretty color.

I found that this can be a little finicky at times, and the lid has to be in perfect shape without any kind of dents or warping, but when it works, it works beautifully. The jar is vacuum sealed and pops when you open it. Definitely a convenient thing to have if it's working properly.

It is best to use name brand jars like Ball and Mason instead of off brand jars to get this unit to work best for you

I was so excited to received this item. Worked great on the first jar. Great seal. That was it. Never sealed again…. So disappointing.

I don't know that I would trust this over traditional canning methods for long term storage, but it really is a simple way to extend the lift of your regular groceries. Buying berries for example... they come in those stupid plastic eggshell containers and basically start to rot the moment you put them in the fridge. Switch to a mason jar, instant upgrade. But having this easy to charge, small space gadget in the kitchen, and you can basically vacuum seal it every single time you open the jar for a few berries! There's no way you would be using long-term canning methods over and over again on the same jar, but this is quick and easy to use.

I use this a lot for lettuce and it really extends the life of lettuce in my fridge. I prewash the lettuce and pack it with a small piece of dry paper towel for soaking up extra moisture. Also handy for dry foods like rice, beans, lentils.

The media could not be loaded. We do a variety of pickling at home including beets, eggs, and carrots. We use the trick of putting the jars upside down to help them seal but sometimes we still get some that don't seal quite right and have to throw them out a year later. With this jar vacuum sealer, we won't have that issue anymore and I would never go back to the old method!The unit comes in a small cardboard box along with a USB C to USB A charging cable, a lid opener, and some spare large and small lids. You don't have to use these lids specifically so it's just a nice bonus that they give you spares. I used a wall adapter from home to charge it and it took about an hour to charge up to full.Now when it comes to using it, I'll start out by saying that this unit is amazing! You go through your normal process for canning and when you're ready to seal, you put your lid on and then put the unit over the lid. It's a tight fit so you may need to wiggle it as you push it down, but the design will accommodate the small or large lids without the need for an adapter change. When you're ready, you simply place your hand on top (the weight of your hand is enough down pressure), push the button once, and then keep your hand on top until you hear the air release and the timer disappears. As it's sealing, the timer will count up and all of the seals I did took between 20 and 30 seconds.After sliding the unit off, I could pick up a full jar using the edges of the lid and it would keep its seal no problem! Each seal seemed to take 1% battery power so I would estimate you can do at least 90 seals on a single charge, which is awesome! There's also no potential for messes using this method.Overall, I think this unit is a game changer when it comes to sealing your jars during pickling as I didn't get any fails with all the ones I did and the unit is just so easy to use. If you do a lot of pickling or just like re-sealing the products you're using for freshness, I highly recommend this product!

I appreciates having the option of not black, not black, and not steel. There's a nice little pastel color tool I can have. And I truly truly appreciates that a business can do so. This works as well as any other sealer out there that's black or white. It's just a different and cute color, that doesn't mean it's not powerful. Works very well and looking good doing so. I love this Vacuum sealer and will stick with it's people to the end. Vote moriko.

We ordered the Moriko mason jar vacuum sealer in green and it looks exactly as advertised. To be honest, we were skeptical about this product as we couldn't believe that this small tool would save us from the long canning process that we have always done in the past. Once out of the box, I charged it overnight and then followed the instructions...basically hold the vacuum sealer down over the lidded mason jar and turn the machine on! Depending on what you have in the jar, it generally takes 20 - 30 seconds to seal the lid. What's great is that you can continue to use the same lid until your jar is empty. As advertised, this sealer does seal both standard and large lids - and does this equally well.We did not use the tool to unseal the jars as it started to bend the lid. However, I would not detract any star points on the sealer because of this. Overall, a very good product that we would recommend.
