Q: Can you I essential oils with the steamer?

Yep, but do not drop it into the steam generator directly, that will make the lid cap cracked easily. Goes in the steam box inside not the generator.

Q: My husband and I are 5'10" will we fit in this?

It will be a tight fit, but I think you should fit. The chair is smaller but needs to be for head room space. If you position it sideways in corner you will have more leg room. There is nothing to grab onto to help you out of the low-sitting sitting chair. You're both 6 inches taller me so this could be a bigger issue for you. Practice your squats😉 If you are the least bit claustrophobic, I would not recommend this model for you.

Q: Is the insulated material cotton and waterproof?

Material is more Nylon.. wipes down easy!! Maybe 5-10m air dry.. after I wipe it down.. easy storage! Great relaxing detox product!!

Q: Can essential oils be used in steamer ? I see no negative comments & 5 star rating. Is it really that good ?

I put in some fresh mint atop the steam releaser. A cotton ball dipped in essential oil would likely work just fine.
