Three terrific films here in one package. Coach Carter covers the true story of an American basketball coach who locks his team out of the gym when it becomes obvious they are allowing the sport to adversely affect their studies. The Shaft up-date works well and it is good to see Richard Rowntree providing strong support reprising his famous role - Jackson plays his nephew. Finally, Rules of Engagement is a gripping drama with Jackson playing a much-decorated marine who is accused of the murder of unarmed civilians during an operation to relieve the American Embassy in the Yemen from a jihadist attack. Tommy Lee Jones, Ben Kingsley and Anne Archer, among others, provide strong back-up here. Three films, all showing a different side to Jackson's talent and all good - great value.

Shaft is good, Coach Carter is good, Rules of Engagement is in my personal opinion a pile of racist trash.
