Big A__ Demand Regulator
Review after connecting the EI2000i to the patio Natural Gas pipe fitting:1. Patio had a built in 1/2 inch NG pipe and shutoff. I added a Second shutoff with a 1/2 FIP female & 3/8 inch male flared fitting. I bought appropriate 1/2 NG pipe to make the bends I wanted then added the shutoff valve.2. I purchased the 12’ GASPRO 3/8-Inch Natural Gas Hose with Quick Connect Fittings - one end had the 3/8 inch flared female fitting. The other end was the quick connect and I hooked it up to the big ass regulator after taking off the propane tap. Then hooked the quick connect to the generator.Checked for gas leaks with a meter. Everything good.3. Started the generator on pull 5 after priming a second time: fired right up! Priming correctly was the key and having the gas on!4. Ran a little rough on non Eco and remedied that as per the manual.5. Ran a little rough on Eco, remedied that per the manual.6. Purred like a kitten. Happy customer.Review after installation: (EU2000i)The installation went well, I took the time to carefully read each step and ahead, then performed the tasks. Few surprises except the following:1. The longer bolts could have been of better quality. They worked find but didn't have the OEM square head.2, I only had to use one of the Grenergy gaskets but noticed the others were not OEM shape etc. They would work but quite a bit different in shape and quality from Honda OEM. The one gasket I used (my generator had not been used) was the outside venturi gasket.3. I used a heat gun on low to clean up the hole saw cuts in the faceplates for venting. That after razor blade removal as specified in the instructions. The heat gun on low (don't linger on the plastic) returns the pastic to OEM like edging.4. When replacing the spark plug be VERY CAREFUL not to lose it down into the gap near the spark hole or you will regret the next two hours trying to retrieve it!5. Don't forget to put the label for the On Off button on BEFORE you install the switch.6. The quick connection elbow did not tighten such that the two washers were squeezed against the plastic case; that threw me off a little and I don't think it's intended to BUT THEY DON"T SAY... but I soon learned having it turn flexibly was really not an issue. I'm not sure what is right or wrong but overtightening the fitting to snug it up seemed wrong.7. I installed the Natural Gas fitting in the Venturi taking out the propane one that’s standard.Overall, the installation went very well. Like I said I took my time to make everything perfect and checked and rechecked my reading before applying the step. When done my generator looked OEM (Honda EU200Oi Series 2 Never Run In Box)Review before Installing:The parts were nicely done and even though I haven't installed them, yet my first reaction was: "That Demand Regulator is as big as Flavor Flav's Clock! In all seriousness, the parts came exactly as specified and I've watched a couple videos so installing it should be fun. Hope it works on NG as that is my desired application.

Propane setup was much easier than expected
I'll start by saying that I own a lot of tools and consider myself an experienced amateur when working with mechanical devices - I'm more of a woodworker than mechanic or plumber. That means I didn't have to buy anything except a sparkplug gap tool. My eu2000i generator is an older model (serial number EAAJ-139XXXX) and so I didn't have to deal with the "defective spark plug gap" problem" of later models. I've also taken good care of the unit and have only had to use it for power failure episodes (of which we have had many) and so it has relatively low running hours. Because of these factors, my gaskets and carburetor were in good shape.Even with all these advantages, the installation went much smoother than I anticipated and it only took a few minutes of adjustment to get the generator purring like a cat off a 15lb propane tank. Total installation time (not counting going out and buying the spark plug gapper) was less than an hour. Thinking there was no way it could have been this easy, I ran the generator for over an hour, hooking up refrigerators, power tools, hair dryers, and sundry electronics, all the time waiting for something to go wrong. I finally decided the setup was going to work as advertised - it even appeared that the generator ran smoother on propane than it ever did on gasoline. All that's left is for me to figure out how to get it to run on natural gas - a project for after Labor Day.I'll finish with a couple of comments concerning the instructions - they were basically much more detailed than I needed (a good thing), they included a lot of cautions like hand-threading the spark plug and other fittings before tightening (something I learned the hard way on past projects), and the pictures were helpful in confirming where everything fit. The only problems were - you don't need a spark plug torque wrench as the Honda manual simply tells you to hand tighten and then give it a further 1/8 to 1/4 turn, a digital caliper is nice but a small metal ruler works just as well, and it should be mentioned that these generators have a small valve and hose to quickly drain the carburetor (maybe it was mentioned but I didn't see it).All in all a very nice conversion kit with good instructions. I would definitely recommend it.

Works as advertised!
I followed the directions and took my time. Probably about 2 hours in total. Quality components. It started on the first pull and purred like a kitten. I now feel better prepared for the hurricane season.

Excellent service and product
I ordered the wrong kit (Honda 2000 instead of 2200) and Grenergy was nice enough to send the right parts. Fired up on the 2nd pull.

Works as expected for older EU2000i
My honda eu2000i is about 15+ years old and the "other" company said their kit will not work on it. For this kit, i ran my gen with the switch set to Progpane until it stops. Primed the system, after 5 pulls it started. After I adjusted the VAC screw my gen ran smothly with eco on or off. Switched back to gasoline with an emptied caburator, it took me about 10 pulls to have it run with gasoline again. This is great. Because my house isnt piped so i cannot try the natural gas.... highly recommended. I dont remember how long it took me to install the kit but it was not hard, just follow the colored instruction.... 🙂

Awesome product.
High quality, works as advertised. Had to buy a step drill and hole saw-not cheap Do not attempt without these tools. Took a couple hours but looks like factory. Runs great, and switches fuel quickly. I run both gasoline and propane to power my 30 ft airstream so I can keep enough fuel around to last a week.Setting the propane intake adjustment is very important. The suggested measurement is dubious. I set mine by ear. I highly recommend this product
