Update to my initial review: I literally used this unit several times. I’d cowash it, detangle with my Denman brush and reuse it. My hair finally grew long enough to wear my own hair in a high puff so I recently cut this unit a lot shorter and passed it on to my sister who now wears it in her hair and it’s still very soft, very full and still had life left to it. I’m thinking of buying another one just to get back into the ease of protective styling and low manipulation. I loved this unit!!!!First Review:I won't lie! I was kinda disappointed when I received this hair piece but I had read another review giving instructions on how to care for this hair and I also watched a video from a vlogger so I didn't panic. After I was done "fixing" the hair, I was happy. I really love it now. Don't let the "birds nest" appearance deter you because it's capable of curling just with a little tlc. I have a type 4a curl pattern and I noticed this hair looked identical to my own pattern. I co washed and gently brushed thru the hair. It's very soft and easy to brush thru. Prior to co washing it, there were a few curls within the unit but it was mostly Afro-like (which is great if I decide to wear it that way). But after the co-wash, it's very soft and curly and mimics my own hair. No one at work even knows I'm wearing weave. It doesn't have a weird smell and it doesn't have that super weavy look (not extra shiny like baby doll hair) I also colored it black because the color it arrived with was weird against my own hair. Coloring it was easy. I'm going to play with it and see if I can do a twist out and other things. One thing I should mention is that you should treat this piece like your own hair. I use good product on it and I wash and condition as if it was my own. I've gotten great results doing so. Oh and it arrived VERY quickly.

The Instructions day to treat it as your own hair so I didn’t co wash because I was in a rush so I simply applied some simple styling foam and OMG!!! I am amazed by how soft and beautiful this hair is. It literally looks and feels like real hair. This could easily be taken for expensive hair. I’m still in shock. I will absolutely be ordering another one of these ponytails!!

This hair is everything. It matches my texture perfectly. It arrived quickly with my Prime. It's so soft and natural looking. I get sooo many compliments. Just like my own natural hair I two strand twisted it using Shea Moisture and the result was the CUTEST twist out ever. Buy it!

I really liked this product when I first got it. It blended in with my hair really well. I tried different styling methods with it. I now realize this ponytail does not last very long before it gets dried out and stiff. This is at least my 4th time buying one of these ponytails. I kept trying to figure out what, if anything, am I doing wrong with it. I’ve tried the 14,16, and 18 inches in the 4c texture. I’ve tried twist outs, I’ve tried pin ups, I’ve tried shampoo on it, I’ve tried just co-washes with it. I’ve tried detangling it, I’ve tried just leaving it alone. My latest uses of this ponytail was just co-wash sparingly with little to no manipulation at all, just to make it last. I now realize that after maybe 4 to 5 times of wearing this ponytail with little to no manipulation, it just dries out and gets stiff and just balls up on your head and gets hard turning into a matted Dried out mess. I spritz it with water several times a day just to add some life to it, but it quickly dries out. I try to be honest without necessarily giving harsh sounding reviews but for the price of this ponytail, a fake one would give you a lot more longevity, manipulate more easily, and not look as stiff and as matted or as tangled as this hair.

I love this Ponytail piece. The texture matches my 4C texture exactly. I love the piece more for the texture then the ponytail part. I don't use the combs, I sew the piece down on a cornrowed section. I flat twisted my hair to blend and that's it.

I received this hair and right when I put it in the water to wash it, I noticed that both of the combs were almost hanging off. It looked as though they weren't even stitched at all. I was planning on wearing it the next morning and it was late when I noticed it so it was a good thing that I had needle and thread to stitch it back together. But I don't do a good job at it so I will have to have my stylist secure it better. Other than that the hair seems like it is pretty nice. How quiet a few pieces shred while I was washing it but I don't think it will be a big problem.

I've been looking for an afro kinky puff that would match the texture of my 4C hair. This unit is perfect. 10 inches is natural for me. The hair is very soft with tight spiral curls. I did not detangle the spirals, as they match my hair perfectly. I did not comb out the kinks. I just sectioned chunky pieces into twists with Kinky Curly Curling Custard. The next day, I took out the twist and positioned the unit toward the front of my head on top of my natural chignon. This piece blends so well. I ordered another one so that I can achieve a cool natural faux-hawk. BTW, I cut out the drawstring and the combs work well for me. However, I also use large bobbipens along with black flexible metal combs that I got off amazon.

I have NEVER posted bad review abt a product before, but I had to on this. This is my second time buying..first was a shorter length and was a gift to someone, I got some complaints but I thought it was because of improper management. Bought a second one, but longer length..I wore it jt for a single day and the hair changed condition. It feels like synthetic texture and I experienced lots of shedding when I conditioned and try to brush it out.Contacted customer service before I could post a review and they asked for pictures. I sent the pictures and what got me pisses off was them telling me it's not their hair. Ok, then let me return your hair, no response. Waste of money. Never buying and never recommending to anyone.
