Used to clean out a diesel intake manifold. It worked well.

Worked perfectly for cleaning out my wood stove pipe for my small tent stove. After cleaning the brush kept it's shape. The lenth when the parts were screwed together was long enough to thuroughly clean the full length of the pipe. Easy to use. Durable and should last many years of use. Great price too.

This flexible wire brush works great.Although it is intended for wood burning stove pipe cleaning, I actually got it to clean the aluminum intake manifold of my truck, since it was the only flexible and extendable wire brush I could find.The wire bristles are not as rigid which allowed me to push the brush through the much smaller intake ports, but still packs enough of a punch that with some degreaser, carb cleaner and elbow grease got the job done and the intake manifold looking like new.If you have a need for a flexible wire brush for any other project other than wood stove pipe cleaning, you can definitely go with this and most likely will also get the job done!

I wish it would have come with some kind of carry case, because once you use these brushes they get sooty. The good news is for the limited time I'm using my camp stove in the winter this brush should keep the chimney clean so I don't have to worry about creosote becoming a fire hazard. I've actually seen a guys outside chimney pipes dripping with creosote from burning wet wood and softwoods like pine. This brush set will help me keep the sections of chimney clean. Bristles on brush are very soft. I actually started laughing when I took the brush out of the package. This brush is a joke. Would never clean anything off a wood burning stove.Don’t waste your time.
