BerghausUnisex Twenty Four Seven 25 Water Repellent Backpack

I'm quite a rucksack junkie, and have an Osprey for everyday stuff and a Lowe Alpine Airzone Pro as a main hiking pack. I needed something simple and affordable for messing around on short hikes, biking and geocaching.Originally I bought something far more expensive and fussy, and had to send it back as it didn't fit right. I saw this come up in a sale and got it for dirt cheap, not expecting too much.After a few turns around the terrace, I can say that this is absolutely great. When I got it I was a little worried that the hardware looked a bit cheap. The clips and buckles are plastic, and so is the little caribiner that is attached. In use, they are actually quite strong so I believe my fears were unfounded.The bag is very comfortable on the back, but can flex a little so moderately decent packing is required. It has some sort of foam that it claims keeps the sweat away, but in my experience, very few packs can do this really effectively. You're always better off going with what feels comfortable as any anti sweat technology is in reality fairly negligible on almost any pack I believe. But, it's good that this claims to help at least. Time will tell on that one.There is a hydration sleeve and hole, an outer and inner small zipped pocket, an outer sleeve, a bottle sleeve on each side, as well as the large main compartment..so plenty of opportunity to pack as you like.My boxes are ticked anyway. A sturdy bag, packing options and a sternum strap. As a bonus, it looks quite modern and stylish.It's not overly padded or technical so I wouldn't say this is suitable as a laptop carrier, or schoolbag perhaps. There is no organiser pocket either, which is my only real niggle. All said and done, I got this very cheap as I say but would be prepared to pay between 20 and 30 pounds quite easily.

I wanted a bag to take on flights that fitted in Ryanairs & EasyJets one bag allowance of size 40x20x25cm, I have attached a photo of it fitting in the measurer at the airport (I purchased the 25L size)Positives*It's lightweight*Has a padded back and straps for comfort*Chest strap*Front pocket for passport, phone etc and a laptop section as part of the main section*Good enough size to squeeze in 5-7 days worth of clothes*Well made and nice lookingImprovements*The zips are alittle fragile and thin*The main pocket doesn't open fully*Not super waterproof but its sufficientI'd highly recommend this bag for travel.

This bag is lovely and light, enough space for me (as I’m only small) for university. Great pockets on the sides for flasks and umbrella, additional cabanas for extras. Inside has useful extra pocket though quite small and could use another inside pocket with pen holder. A useful pocket on the outside also but you almost forget it’s there. It also has a hook for your keys in inside pocket. Also has separate padded area for a pad or small laptop. Great value bag would’ve given 4.5 or5 star if it had just one extra inside pocket

So so happy with this rucksack, it has all the features I wanted, is great value for money and well made.I bought it to take as stowaway hand luggage on Ryanair flights, as I was sick of paying extra to take a little suitcase with me. Though it is slightly taller (4cm) than allowed (though the width and depth are perfect), I figured it would be fine, after having seen so many passengers with giant rucksacks with them, never getting checked!!What I think is so impressive about this rucksack is that it is simplicity combined with functionality in a small-ish, good value for money rucksack. Though it is simple by design, it checked all my boxes. The features I liked were the simple black design (I don't much like the look of 'busy' rucksacks), 2 drink holders, well designed zips that don't get caught, a chest strap, handy little slots inside and outside (perfect for your passport, keys or phone), an extra little section inside (good for slotting in a laptop or hydration bladder) and a little hole for the tube of a hydration bladder to slot through.

I picked this up to replace my trusty timberland backpack that I’d had for over 10 years due to the zip giving way. What a great little bag it is, plenty pockets, comfortable, lightweight! I haven’t tried the waterproofing out as yet, touch wood the weathers been on my side. For the price, I think you’ll struggle to find a better quality backpack. I really like the key clip on the inside pocket and the sunglasses pocket is also a nice little feature, neither are something I was looking for but both have came in very handy.

I purchased the slightly older version of this rucksack deliberately as my daughter had no use for loops on the side to hold climbing poles/sticks. What she needed was a lightweight, reasonably waterproof black rucksack for secondary school that could comfortably fit her books, a water bottle and her pencil case. She is really pleased with the rucksack and says it's very comfortable to wear on one or both shoulders. She's been using it daily now since the start of September and it still looks as good as new despite how much she loads it up with. It weighs a ton and she tends to carry it using one strap but it shows no signs of excess wear on that side. I imagine it will double up well as a sleepover bag on weekends too. Great rucksack.

This was perfect for a first camping trip away! Great bag, great brand. It’s a good size for a small girl—the clips and straps were just perfect. And it was an excellent price. Packaged very well and arrived swiftly! I will definitely purchase from this shop again. Thank you!

Such an amazing bag! Used it everyday in our hiking trips in Scandinavia!
