I bought this and customized it to use for my special edition books. It is absolutely perfect and great quality. The travel size also helps so I can take it with me on the go to book signings. The raised seal is very crisp and the handle is easy to squeeze.

So disappointed, plates in the embosser I received were upside down, so you could only emboss the top of a page/book, and after the first "stamp" the top part that says "from the library of" is so soft, you can't even see or feel it.

This is such a nice idea for books but if you notice the embosser doesn’t make the stem for the bottom flower and it’s very noticeable. I was going to give this as a gift but I’m too disappointed in the quality.

I am a photographer and wanted an embosser to personalize my note cards. Picked out a nice design and changed the wording so it credited the photo on the card to me: "Photo By (my name)". The embosser does a great job and the emboss adds dignity and style to my cards. Looks much better than text on the back of the card. The embossing plates are metal and they create a sharp, clean emboss on card stock. Very happy with the product.
