Carhartt Men's 11-inch Rugged Flex Rigby Work Short

Needed some extra work shorts for the warmer season. The fit is true, very comfortable. Quality and durability of material is top notch.

First off I like these shorts but have to take a star off for their waist sizes. I wear a 36 (at least that what my current jeans say I am). I ordered the pants in winter for working around the yard in size 36. Too tight. Had to order 38 and they fit. Figured I am going up a size. Weather warmer so ordered these shorts in 38. Way too big. Ordered the hickory in 36. Fits great. So I order the tan and navy. Tan fits great. Navy is like they were a 34. Sent them back and got a 2nd pair of hickory 36. Fits great. Pants I have to wear a 38, shorts in 36 and then it's depends on the color? I dont get it. Once I got the waist sizes correct, I wear these all the time and like them.

Here’s the deal fellas. Stretch in the waist is so wonderful. Stretch in the butt and thigh makes these shorts feel great all day. Legs fit good; not huge like almost every pair of shorts on earth. 11” inseam so they don’t go way up your thigh like almost all shorts made. Look , if you want length, stretch, comfort and looks these are the real deal. I’m so done with short shorts. I’ve sent back five pairs of mens shorts already this summer due to the sad fact that none of the vendors lost the inseam length on their shorts because they know you won’t buy them. I reckon they think you won’t sent them back. And it probably works for them. But it’s a lot of wasted resources by the time you get them delivered, discover how short they are, send them back and / or take them to Kohl’s. I’m starting a mens shorts company. The shorts will all have 11” inseams, stretch waist, stretchy fabrics and tapered legs so they don’t look like a sack with legs sticking out. Use all that extra fabric you’re using in those big legs and put it to use in the length already !!!

Carhartt makes great products!I have a small homestead and I have used Carhartt work pants and work shorts for years. No one matches the quality and fit.They add the right tool pockets in the right places.(Be even better if they’d stay out of politics)

Great pair of shorts, very stretchy straight out of the box. Could be a little baggier, but the length is good.
