I have a really steep driveway and I've skidded/fallen down it a time or two as I'm shoveling snow. After I bruised my tailbone, I decided enough was enough and I needed to get something with more traction. These have been fantastic and worth every penny. They haven't caused me a moment's worry and I feel much more secure out there shoveling or snow blowing. Note: I put these on my women's size 9 snoe boots, and I don't think it would stretch too much more beyond maybe a size 10. I think that's important to know for others who are shopping for these, but they fit mine just fine, and that's what's important to me.

These are fantastic, especially for the price. My husband and I live in northern NY where the winters are pretty harsh. These ice cleats worked great for some of our snowshoeing adventures when you'd encounter long stretches of ice on the trail. They fit perfectly in our packs, slipped on easily, and gave us the security that we needed to keep going! I'm definitely planning on purchasing these again for my parents next year.

It's good to walk in the snow. The disadvantage is that you have to take off the wood floor and the grass. It's a bit of a hassle, and it's not snowing now.

Worked well on a cold wintry hike. It was somewhat steep and packed with snow and these grips worked very well.

I used it for hiking in Zion National Park. It was snowing and the trail is slippery. Luckily I had this and it really helped me to stay on the trail.
