Flash Furniture Carlton 36'' Round Black Laminate Table Set with X-Base and 4 Black Trapezoidal Back Banquet Chairs

This item arrived very quickly and was packed well. It was shipped in several boxes. One for the base, one for the center-pole and hardware, one for the tabletop, and one for the chairs. Interestingly, the tabletop was both the lighter natural wood and darker walnut (each side was a different finish - see photos below) so I had the choice of which one to use although I paid for the less expensive walnut (keep that in mind when ordering).There were no instructions in the box. The hardware consisted of 8 self-tapping phillips-head screws and a washer for the base. It was extremely easy to figure out how to assemble this table. There are no holes pre-drilled on the table top due to the fact that you need to pick which surface you want to use. An electric screw driver or drill with a phillips-head bit is sufficient for assembly but I feel that a manual screwdriver might be a little more work. The chairs were fully assembled and simply had to be unpacked and the protective plastic removed from them. Total assembly time was less than 10 minutes.Tools used for assembly:Corded electric drill with phillips-head bit (regular phillips-head screwdriver will work fine)5/8" box wrench to tighten the square bolt on the baseInstructions for assembly:1. Choose the tabletop finish you wish to use and lay it face down on the floor. If assembling on a hard surface, you may want to keep the tabletop in the box to avoid scratching it.2. Place the 'square' end of the center-pole on top of the upside down tabletop.3. Center the center-pole so each edge is approximately 13 1/4" from the outer edge of the table on each side. You may want to mark the screw holes if you plan to pre-drill them.4. Screw in the four corner screws with your phillips screwdriver.5. Screw in the remaining four center screws.6. Unscrew the bolt attached to the other end of the center-pole. Place the base on top of the center-pole and then put the washer followed by the bolt.7. Tighten the bolt using a wrench.8. Flip the table over.9. Unpack the chairs and remove protective plastic covers.10. Enjoy your new table.

I live in a apartment where space is limited. This table chair set fits perfect. It had a small dent in the table but with kids it would've happened later. Table pretty durable. Chairs support large amounts of weight. Great for the price and would do it again.

Product appears good for the price. Packaging was pretty beat up, but product was not harmed other than a small scratch on the edge of the table. Assembly screws for the table were missing and two were loose in the box. Overall product appears to be good quality for the price.

Did not work out. Table is small and tacky. Chairs were banged up. There was no instruction or marking for where to drill screws to attach tabletop to table stand. Returning.

the set did not come with any hardware to screw in the table top, it had no instructions,

The table top does not have holes in it. It is just a round disk. They send a “hardware” package with 8 very small screws and 1 washer. They expect customers to use these to somehow screw on the base to the table top. The top is much to heavy - this will not work. The chairs are very cheap and really uncomfortable. The return experience is a nightmare. Amazon approved my return but this company keeps stalling on returning my money and sending a packing slip to return this junk. This company is a scam- do not purchase this table or anything else from Virventures!

I Love this set. Super surprised with the quick delivery. Have to pre-drill holes for table top. But with my sons geometry knowledge, found center easily and had base attached in less than 10 minutes, & I'm a Mom. :) Table & chairs are great and easy to wipe clean. Both are built to last. And actually look Cool. One of the BEST purchases I have made on Amazon.

Sturdy, high quality table and chairs for the price. Easy to assemble in about 5 minutes.
