Good Alternative to Standard Camera Strap
I don't care for your standard-style camera strap. I often find they can be cumbersome and I dislike the split-ring type of attachments that end up staying on the camera body when you don't use the strap. I much prefer these d-ring style attachment points. This sling comes with one D-ring and I have others to attach to the camera body for the second point of attachment (safety). The sling itself serves its purpose, is easily adjustable, and is of adequate length for the camera to hang at hip height. Two things I would change, I would have preferred if the strap itself was a bit wider (+.5") and a shoulder pad attachment that had some reasonable padding to hang on your shoulder for an extended period. I will look for an after-market pad to improve the comfort of the strap on your shoulder. Overall I prefer this over a traditional camera strap.

5 Star Strap!
I really like the Rigdance Universal Camera strap. It is lightweight, strong and comfortable. I will start with the “weak points”. It has two plastic “push clips” that secure the lower part of the camera strap to the upper part that goes around your neck. They are very strong clips that will not easily fail. In the rare event that one fails, the camera will remain connected around your neck. I recently had my newer, expensive camera’s strap come undone and fall off my shoulder to the floor. Fortunately, the camera and lens survived, but I nearly had a heart attack. When I saw the Rigdance Camera Strap, I decided to give it a try. I do not regret getting this strap. A few days ago I took it out on a photoshoot with me. It allowed me to shoot without worrying about if it was going to fall. The tie points are extremely well done giving me confidence it wont fall. When not using the camera, I am able to quickly move it to my side or slightly behind me out of the way. If you are on the fence about a new camera strap, I think you will like the Rigdance Camera Strap!

very basic strap
So this is a very basic strap, all of the strap is the same size with no extra width or padding. Many other models for the shoulder part are wider and thicker to not dig into your shoulder, this is not built this way at all. Also the plastic buckles are chunky and just kind of get in the way, I wish the buckles were less or smaller in the way they are built.

Mine came missing a cruical part - the attachment to the camera!
Kind of worthless without the part that screws into the camera. Mine just has the nylon rope. It looks like it would be comfortable, but so annoying that it can't be properly tested because somehow it was made without the connection point for the camera. I guess there is no quality control on the outgoing orders.0 stars if I could.

The backup connector is tough
So I got to test the backup connector strap the first week that I used it. Basically, the clip wasn't firmly seated and popped. The camera was saved by the backup connector, and NOTHING happened. By virtue of the safety alone, I can easily recommend this for anyone having to move lightly and quickly!

Great strap
This strap is great. It attaches at the tripod screw and has a backup strap that connects to the strap hook.I use my camera for photo and video. It's hand-held, on and off tripod, and on a gimbal. I use a quick-release plate, so I can quickly attach it to any of those items. When hand-held, a quick release attaches to this strap, which can easily be clipped off when going on the gimbal or tripod. The strap has a few quick-connects to make it easy to put down without taking off the strap. It has some elastic to ease the weight of the camera (it's not bouncy, but it just makes it feel a touch lighter as you move). The strap is a little thick and bulky, but for holding an expensive camera, that's not a bad thing.

Good but not perfect
I got this so I'd have a second strap system, and not have to swap the same one around so much. This is not as versatile as a Black Rapid or similar system, but for the price, it's quite adequate. The main difference is that it is not as smooth a draw in bringing the camera from your hip to your eye. Otherwise, it's pretty good, and solidly constructed.

Not for me
I decided to try this because it has a little safety attachment bit. I recently damaged my favorite lens when I accidentally undid the strap buckle instead of the chest strap on my backpack which led to my camera doing a lens first nose-dive into the parking lot. This strap just doesn't work for me. It doesn't have really any padding. The shoulder strap consists of a piece of nylon that wraps around the main nylon of the strap. I could live with that, but it doesn't move with the camera either. I've been using a Op/Tech Utility Strap. The attachments to the camera slide with it as you lift it from your side. This sling strap is a good attempt, but no match for my old strap.

Multi anchor camera strap comfortably mounts onto heavy DSLR or cine rigs
The RIGDANCE camera strap is innovative because of its two point anchoring system securely attaches to DSLR cameras with heavy lenses or even full on cine camera rigs. It makes film making easier balancing the load over the shoulders and fastening down universally into 1/4" tripod screw thread socket. It feels both comfortable to wear wrapping the shoulder pad over its heavy duty nylon strap. Whether its a lightweight camcorder or mirrorless, it becomes easier to lug around by wearing across the shoulders but still having flexibility to operate the camera. Although occasionally the 1/4" mounting does get in the way either in portrait photography or even landscape film making. Its main drawback is relying on 1/4" socket mounting means it limits the ability to attach cameras up top tripods without first unscrewing the strap mechanism. It can be unlatched acting as a quick release plate but the screw still remains attached into the camera body. Since its meant to hold up nearly 8lbs using dual 1/4" plus loop strap anchoring to a plastic buckle the camera strap fits universally well onto cinematography rigs or even gimbal for filming shoulder stabilized as long as its under about 3 to 4 kilo load bearing capacity.Opening it out to full length is about 36" while strap itself is actually fairly wide about 3.5cm. This narrows down further to its 1.5cm plastic buckle attached to lanyard and also its least durable component holding up weight. Bottom strap does attach to loops but pulling through 0.5cm wide through loops can be difficult. As a camera strap having adaptability, comfort, and style is important where the RIGDANCE over the shoulder mount system balances these but with some compromises around its reliance on 1/4" mounting for anchoring.

Really unique camera strap that passed my stress tests and handled weighty loads with no issue
As a working photojournalism student, I am always on the lookout for new and improved ways to help me carry my camera gear. This over-the-shoulder strap system by Rigdance really lets you dance with your gear effectively, keeping your focus on the shots you want to take.I was surprised by the built-in elastic system of the larger strap itself, and it has turned out to be just the unique kind of carry system I have been looking for. It's comfortable and adjustable and all-around a unique strap that I have never seen or used before now.I was initially wary of the additional, included hand strap made of paracord. However, after some stress testing, I would easily recommend it for smaller cameras, or as an additional connection point between whatever larger camera you are using, and your wrist, while still keeping the camera attached to the larger strap discussed.I'm not sure I can go back to regular neck straps after using this. It's great.
