These are very high quality urns. I bought the 13" for my mum's ashes and was really pleased with the quality, style and weight. I have since lost my two little Yorkies who were from the same litter so decided to buy this 8" one and put them both back together in the same urn and it was a perfect size. I now have them standing together and most people think they are just ornaments so it takes away the sadness of it obviously being an urn. They are also easy to keep clean. Can't recommend this product enough. This 8" one is perfect for pets and I would say would comfortably hold the ashes of children but not adults.

We bought this Teardrop Urn for the ashes of our son as we intend to keep him at home with us until we pass on. Rather than have him hidden in a standard urn somewhere in the house, we decided to buy this product so he could stay in our sitting room. Most cremation urns are just that, and some people are uneasy about them, the Teardrop urn is ornamental and signifies the tears shed for him.The urn is made of metal and is quite heavy, so shouldn't get knocked over too easily, even if it does, the ashes are quite secure with a decent lid on the bottom. It's also possible to get the urn engraved whereas the ceramic type cannot.Finally and perhaps most importantly for us, Urns UK actually tell you the size of the urn, our son was a large adult and some of the urns we looked at would not have held all his ashes, this one did, be careful as there are smaller versions of this urn for sale.

We bought this for my mums ashes, and to be honest it looks just like a contemporary ornament in the living room, not so obvious as an urn. It has a heavy weight to it, so really not likely to fall over, and the screw cap on the bottom is tight and robust. Would really recommend it as its a lot cheaper by far than what the undertakers are charging and some of the urn websites. At a time like this it hard enough, but people don't want to feel ripped off. For us this this item is PERFCT ....A dry cloth to dust it over is all that's needed.

As anyone looking for such an item, you probably won't be feeling great so I'll keep it short.The urn was chosen for its clean design which does not look out of place in a modern house/living room. The item is heavy, shiny, and definitely handcrafted as I shone a torch inside and you could see the soldering seams. The item will become very heavy once it has been used for its intended purpose. More than 5-6kg, keep that in mind when thinking about where you'll position it (you can seriously hurt someone if it falls on them).The item is highly-priced in my opinion but I suppose it's all relative. Make sure to check your item for scratches when it arrives as it is a common issue with these and easily spotted due to the mirror shine finish.The bottom screw opening is quite a faff. It can feel as if it is stuck or being cross-threaded, it is not, you just need to twist harder, or optimally have your undertaker deal with all of that. The opening is also quite small so make sure that all that you need to put in it are ashes.

I love this urn. It’s not too big, just enough to hold a little of my parent’s ashes. I have placed the ashes inside a bag. My sister purchased the larger urn and this is beautiful too, it just depends how big you would prefer the ornament to be . I have displayed it on my shelf, it looks like a quality ornament and visitors would not realise that it is an urn.There was a scratch but I was happy with the amended discounted price so I have kept the urn,

This is a quality product, a sad item to have to buy, but beautiful nonetheless.My one complaint is that its not level underneath, only realised after ashes were transferred and stood it upright, 3 little rubber studs on the base and obviously should be 4 studs so had to put thick cardboard where missing stud should be. It can't be seen, but is annoying as I won't be returning it for obvious reasons.If I'm completely honest it has really annoyed me and my daughter, was an expensive item to purchase and you would expect an item for a loved ones ashes would and should be perfect.

The urn arrived well packaged and undamaged which was a huge relief! Also received earlier than expected so many thanks.The urn is small and the bottom opening is small but I found if you put a bag inside first and then transfer the ashes into it and then seal, it worked very well ( make sure you do this when feel emotionally ready). I had both our cats cremated separately and they are now together again . Im very happy in spite of my sadness. This urn is a beautiful colour (like a turquoise ) its stunning and well made. Would highly recommend if you need a small urn and the price is reasonable compared to some online.5 stars for this seller and product.
