Mixed review, switched broadband provider to Vodafone, wanted to put the router in a slightly different place. Bought two of these cables:3M long to replace the cable provided by vodafone linking incoming phone socket to router - works perfectly.1M to replace the existing long RJ11 to BT plug cable from the cordless phone to the router - to tidy up the wiring. Vodafone have gone to digital landline (VOIP). You plug the phone into an RJ11 socket on the back of the router. With the existing cable have to use a BT phone to RJ11 adaptor (supplied by vodafone). That works. The 1M RJ11 cable does not work - no dial tone?? No idea why. Have another "old phone" that is also terminated with an RJ11 plug, that works.I could get out my cable tester to try and figure out why.So five stars for the 3M cable and one star for the 1M cable.

I had to keep my BT Smart Hub quite a far from BT master socket. My BT OpenReach socket had 2 output, one for internet and another for phone line. This cable goes into BT internet socket in one end and BT hub in other end.Please make sure you buy this cable and not CAT5e or CAT7 type cables which are ethernet cables and thus will not fit into BT modem, even though they will fit into BT OpenReach socket. Remembering this fact can save you from ordering wrong cable!

Ordered the 1m lead, it is not 1m in length, very disappointed as it doesn't quite reach where I need it, it measures at only 70cm
