Each crystal is highly pigmented so that the color is consistent and true throughout the entire piece of glass. Please see picture, we took them in and out doors with and without flash. The metal is not magnetized, so you will need to glue the Energem into the cap on the necklace. Other buyers have found other ways of attaching the Energems into the necklace cap such as: taping around the top cap on the Energem so it is a tight fit into the necklace cap. It is up to you as to how you attach the Energem into the necklace cap. Starlight Studio suggests gluing it in using Loctite Super Glue (the blue and grey bottle).
