As pictured, works really well. Straightening isn't effected by the curved plates. Takes a while to get used to using it as a curler if your not used to using straightners.

Tried and tried with these but just kept slipping on hair and when I did manage to keep in place there was hardly any curl. Sent back. Will keep to my tongs for the perfect curl

When curling my hair it does not stay for at least an hour but straightening is fine I used to use ghd brand and would rather switch back to that one but it is fine.

This is a very good hair straightener / soft curler, that does exactly what it says it’d Ives, at a rather good price, especially at the current 20% off voucher or ice, which makes it £26.39 - a bit of a bargain (£32.99 at the point of review without the discount.The whole set is nicely presented and comes with everything you need, including a hand heat protection glove and the essential silicone heat protector mat/pouch, which means you can use it with confidence on furniture and leave it confidently in the silicone pouch after use, so no fire risk.When you first turn the stationers on it defaults to the 180 degree heat setting, which is perfect for my hair, but can also be set at a lower or higher heat (from 130 - 230 degrees), using the + or - buttons, depending on your hair type.In use these straighteners do a good job at both straightening and soft curling, and it is easier to curl with them than when doing so with a flat straightener, though it can be achieved with them with practice.So overall this is a great little set that comes with everything you need for a great value price. The on,y minor niggle is the auto shut-off clicks in at 60 mins, and I wish this was a slightly shorter timeframe, but it’s a minor point and it doesn’t effect my overall star rating - which is five stars!

I'd say it's easier and better for straightening, but you do get a nice curl if you know what to do.In the box, you get the 2 in 1 straightener and curling iron, a heatproof pouch, a glove and instructions. The heatproof pouch is made of silicon and the hair iron can slot into it for easy storage. They heat up really quickly - my go-to heat setting has always been 200 degrees for some reason, but it ranges from 180 - 230 degrees celsius. They also turn off automatically after 60 minutes, in case you get distracted.Straightening is pretty self-explanatory (put a section of your hair between the iron, clamp and move down), but curling you will need to again, take a section of your hair, clamp and then rotate the iron under your hair (rotate downwards) and slowly move towards the tips of your hair. The longer you take, the tighter the curl will be (obviously don't take too long though!). I did find it pull on some strands of hair when curling though.This is a great piece to have in your hairstyling kit if you don't want to own 2 different hair irons or aren't a fan of a curling wand.

This is the best hair appliance. It’s a one stop shop, straighten or curl all in one. The only negative is that there is a learning curve but once you get it, it rocks. The first time I used it I looked like Shirley Temple lol but now I get the curl I like. It is a must purchase

It's quick to heat up and works well. The quality and feel of the straightener in the hand is nice and the colours are cute. Overall I love it!
