I decided that I should get some more exercise and start walking to the shops. The trouble is carrying heavy shopping bags is not fun. While I'm retired, I'm not yet ready for one of those wheeled shopping bags , so was looking for something of the backpack type.The trouble was that nobody sells a shopping backpack, and after looking around I found this on amazon and it is perfect for this role. The size is great for a few days shopping. it has one large regular rectangular volume, which is great (not lots of fussy small zones) . Its insulated which keeps food cool and also adds some comfort to the wearer. its very lightweight and has a few useful side and rear pockets.It appears to be strong enough to carry a very heavy load, and sometimes its been so heavy it was hard to swing up onto my back in one go, so this is good also.its turned a chore into a pleasure, really pleased with it. It also has a loop so I can hang it on the wall hook when not in use.UPDATE: Well it's more than a year later and this rucksack still is a wonder. I've carried some very heavy loads in it, and if it had started to break, I'd have purchased another without a thought. But it's still in as good condition as when first purchased. It means I get around 5K steps a day I wasn't getting, so it has literally changed my life for the better

The quality feels of the bag, I'd say is pretty good. It's been used a handful of times, often rammo with food and beer but has never felt like breaking or anything. Dash a couple of ice packs in and it'll keep all your food nice and cool all day at least. Honestly, I was shocked at how good it is at keeping things cold. I took about 6 chilled beers and a load of refrigerated food in it using just a couple of those free Hello Fresh cool bags they give you.... Still ice in the cool bags after 2 and a half days. And it was spring time, about 16-17 degrees outside.

This bag is a great size for a picnic for two people, holds 2 full size bottles along with food and snacks. It has handy pockets in the right places, the one inside the lid of the bag worked especially well when leaning against the seat in front of us to hold the stemless double wall metal champagne flutes with lids and straws that I also bought.The only significant downside is that the base of bag is hard and flat and when the backpack is fully loaded this very quickly digs into your lower back and rubs as you walk. Even later in the day when the bag is empty and lighter, the bag has by then rubbed sufficiently and is really uncomfortable. I probably walked about 10km over the course of the day out and the bag was not ideal, the following day my spine was tender where the bag had rubbed. It’s a shame as it’s a great bad as long as you don’t have to walk too far with it.

Would highly recommend this product easy to carry as on your back so handsfree. Great quality loads of space inside kept everything chilled with the ice blocks. Very sturdy and great value

Keeps items cold when paired with freezer blocks or ice. Doesn’t leak when ice melts inside and bag is strong as proven by me completely filling it with Guinness for a wedding.Easy to use and clean, large storage capacity and the bag is solid.

I have now bought 4 of these in total! A friend bought me one, our adult children were always borrowing it, so I bought them all one as a fun present for Christmas! They love it & now mine is always there when we want it! Very spacious inside & has a little pocket on the side! Great to be able to carry on my back! As a family we now have 3 grey & 2 black!

Saw someone with one of these when out at Alton Towers, asked them where they got it and they showed me the item on the App!So happy with this, looks great, loads of space inside, very easy to clean, keep food and drinks cold all day long!100% would recommend for days out and picnics 10/10 Great Value

Great size, easy to carry and wipe free inside. Works perfectly for a day trip. We took it on holiday and had it with us every day. Waterproof, held the temperature with cool blocks and easy to keep clean. Comfortable to carry also.
